I have used this theme for my portfolio – https://www.helenlaiwebdesign.com/2013. However, in the past a few days, after I added more posts, the site started having some bugs. When it loaded, the overlapping situation happened a lot. What could be the reasons? Too many posts? The height of the image is too long?
BTW, I also want to add the sidebar to the top (below the header, above the posts) besides the bottom. Could you guide me to do it?

Instead of the grid image I have “width=290 height=290>”
I just changed servers a few days ago. My theme worked fine until then. I even re-downloaded the theme and installed again… same thing.
I tried other theme and have not been getting this problem so I am sure it is with this one.
I commented out:
<?php if ($grid_img) echo '<div class="grid-image">' . $grid_img . '</div>'; ?>
… and that goes away (obviously)… but i can not seem to find a fix and have been looking into it for hours now.
Anyone have a similar problem? suggestions for a fix?

There’s a problem with this theme’s multiple thumbnails generated by the grid and Facebook. I am not sure which one causes the problem, facebook or the theme.
When I publish a link to my facebook page, it used to allow all 30+ thumbnails as a choice, but now it has been reduced and it differs: from 10 to 3. When I change the slug, the permalink, the available thumbnails come back to 10 and those are usually not the ones I need for the link. I don’t want facebook to have the control over which thumbnails to choose from, and it’s important for the facebook page link to represent the content of the post.
Otherwise the problem if continues, will affect traffic to my website, and it already has.
Before there was a debugger link available to fix the problem, which seems to exist in the permalink, for some reason. Now the debugger is not available, and facebook limits the number of thumbnails, which usually end up being taken from the end of the grid images, which are irrelevant to the content of course. Only sometimes the image from the actual new post is available as the first thumbnail.
I cannot use the featured image because I don’t upload images to my website, I store all of them on flickr, so that option is not an option.
Any word of advice, how to fix this problem of volatile thumbnail availability on Facebook?

I am using the Tanzaku Theme and one thing I have not been able to do yet is getting rid of the grid image within the post itself. Is there a way to hide it? I have seen one possible solution by hiding the “first-child” but this removes all the images form the post.

it makes the post on the entry page as large, like the first image inserted into the post. this feature i would like to have more advanced, to have small bricks also when the first image is larger, ..have no idea how to manage this…
to get it more clear; i have two different post preview width sizes; 320 and 645px.
and i want every opened post having a large 770px or so wide image at first… but do not know how to create these different preview post sizes independently from the first image size within the post. would love to use an image from further down in the post sometimes as post preview image, rather than the first one in it…

I have rather simple question which is a shame to post here, but i can’t solve it by myself cause i am not expert in divs, css etc.
Tanzaku theme, by default, have left and right margins. I want to fill them:
left – by menu <?php wp_list_pages(‘sort_column=menu_order&title_li=’); ?>
right – with banners (new zone) <div class=”r_b”><?php get_sidebar(‘3’); ?></div>
At 1st look all seems to be ok. But when i start to resize browser and my window become smaller, grid covers up my left and right columns.
I really dunno how to avoid it. M.b. anyone, who already made the same, can link site where i can view source?

I’m quite new to CSS and PHP coding and I wanted to ask some help to get Tazaku theme fixed width.
My main worry is the post size. If I put few images on and have some text, when you start playing with the browser window everything starts going a bit crazy and ugly(images even squash – saw a post solving that – no minimum words length for the text…and general untidiness)
I’ve read many threads here but none of them really explained in depth even though some people managed to get it right.

im using tanzaku theme and i’d like to know how can i create advertising imagenes between the posts without showing the date and the category.
How can you scale image size proportionally on individual posts?
Currently the theme adjusts the width, but has a set height value so images are skewed vertically.
Example:
Full-screen image is 1,200×643px
Smaller browser width: Original 1,200×643 image is scaled to 600×643px
I’d like for the height in the above example to shrink to ~321px, ie. proportionally scaled to match the new width size.

]]>As most of you know, you go to the home page and you see an image that is pulled from the post and the full post on each of the floating boxes.
If you change ‘content’ to ‘excerpt’ in index.php, you’ll get excerpts, but not the images.
If I go though 1000’s of posts and upload or select a “featured image” or enter the “read more” tag, it would do as I wished, but that would take years!
There must be away to edit a bit of code so the theme will bring in the first image and do an excerpt without editing 5 years of posts.

Hi, I want to have only images on the grid boxes in Tanzaku theme so that it would look uniform, same height/width. (see https://studio-juju.com/) So I first tried inserting “more tags” before text, which leaves detail links. Then I tried “featured images” by changing functions.php and index.php (https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Function_Reference/get_the_post_thumbnail) But this time the featured images do not scale to the size of the grid boxes, even if I select the thumbnail sizes when uploading the images.
So my question is, if I go for “more tags”, how do I get rid of detail links that are left in the grid boxes? Or if I go for “featured images” what changes do I need to make to automatically scale down the size of the featured images so that it fits in the grid boxes?
Please please help! I’ve been searching for answers in the forum and figuring things out for four hours almost ?? very time consuming…

I need serious help. I created a blog using the Tanzaku theme and I really like it but I have two issues that I haven’t been able to resolve.
The first and most important one is that I added a sidebar to the code which is working great in the front page but when I open a post the sidebar goes to the bottom of the page and gets hidden by under the GRID.
I need the sidebar to ALWAYS stay in the same place as in the front page and functioning perfectly IN EVERY SINGLE PAGE I OPEN OR GO TO IN THE BLOG.

All seemed to working fine until the number of posts went over 10 & the pagination was added – if you click on page 2 or next the page it direct to just redirects to a automatic hosting page.

Obviously i can work around it for now by changing the number of posts shown in the reading setting but that isn’t a long term solution!
