Hello, I’ve been using your theme for two years now and I really love it. I recently added some Amazon ads to the website, but they are not displaying correctly. The text in the ads are overlapping with the images. I have these same Amazon ads on other websites and they are displaying correctly. I think something in your theme is causing the problem. Do you mind taking a look and letting me know how I can fix the problem? Thank you!

Hi. You just made a good job with this theme!!! I have some issue whem try to follow my blog with Feedly (https://feedly.com), the only feed that appears is the one for follow the comments. There is some thing wrong witj my settingns? Thanks!

How can I add a right-hand sidebar in J A Mortram theme?

I’d like to add a right-hand sidebar to my blog. I want to add in a subscribe widget on the top at the right as well as at the end of a blog post.

I’d also like to add in social media icons for links to my social media on the right on the homepage and on each post so that the subscribe for updates field doesn’t get lost at the bottom of each post.

One question please: As seen on Small Town Inertia, it is possible to chose a featured image for the front page. But it is also possible to control the featured text?

My first guess was that the first sentences of the text appear automatically on the front page. But then I discovered that James had managed to put a passage from the middle of his posting as featured text which looks like this:

Where do I find these settings?

I currently have the home page set to show latest post however it will only show the beginning text instead of the text and image. Is it possible to change this so it will display the complete post.

I am using the awesome theme for a new project.

However, I would like to make the font on the front page a bit smaller so it comes in one line “comfort found in detail.”

Can you let me know where in the theme (in which file and line) I need to adjust the font size.

I have some problems with this theme.
You can go to and see that the first content on the webpage should be the last! I mean that the title of the blog comes after Recent Updates, Link to Control Panel, Login etc…

I can’t figure out what the social network sharing is padded so much on the homepage . But perfect on the post.

I tried to inspect the element. but even with zero padding its still looks like it has a 5 pixel padding

I’ve been using your theme to create my photo blog/buisness page. So far it’s working great and I really enjoy the minimalism aspect to it.

I was wondering if it were possible to set the main index page to simply just show the latest blog post. Rather show links to the separate posts.

Or even have a next at the bottom, going to an older post.

However, I cannot make a picture appear on the front page with each blogpost. I assumed it was the ‘set featured picture’ option, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Am I missing anything?

When I upload images and insert them in my post (both through browser and WordPress app), they are not showing in my posts.

The images are showing on Pages.

Please help. The only way I can add an image is by adding “Featured image”, but this image format is too small for my needs + it is not practical, as I need to use the WordPress app to post, and the featured image feature is not available there.

Hi, we’re running a fairly basic site on version 1.12 of The J A Mortram. We love the look and feel of the theme, and generally it’s working really well. However, we have one major problem we cannot solve:

We amended the page template to include our logo at the top, centred, of each page. We have also set a static front page, as we do not intend to use a blog. However, the static front page displays the logo off-centre, and causes layout problems on the rest of the page. Whichever page is set as the static homepage displays the same problem.

Is there a solution? We’re pretty much beginners at this and are pleased with our progress so far but we can’t seem to solve this issue!

Hi! I think this theme is exactly what I’m looking for. But I’d like some direction in how exactly it’s designed to be used.

Should I just put a bunch of images in a post? Should I organize them with tags in some way? What about captions? How is this theme intended to be used?
