I’m having lots of trouble with the formatting of blogs, from the pages that display the blog entries to the blog posts themselves.

1. Firstly, you can see in the link that on pages where I want to display posts from a certain category only, the post excerpt is set out strangely, with a huge gap from the first line to the second. This also changes depending on how you resize the window on desktop…
2. The thumbnail of the feature image on these pages is also a lot smaller than on the ‘All Posts’ page…
3. The feature image of blog posts doesn’t display in the post itself
4. All blog posts have been ‘centred’ and the formatting of posts doesn’t follow what I designed when writing the posts (e.g. all text is centred, there are either no dot points, or the dot points are very far to the left)
5. Blog posts also turn into a tiny sliver of text when I resize the window on desktop

I’ve been trying to fix these issues in the CSS stylesheet but have had no luck. Please help!!!

I’ve been searching around for a while now, but I can’t seem to find a way to enable pagination on Homepage A. Right now, it will display however many posts selected in the customizer (6 by default), and all others will essentially disappear into nothing.

In the function themotion_home_a_show_post_category(), there does seem to be a line calling the_posts_navigation, but that doesn’t actually show up on th site. Any pointers as to how to change that?

Hi team, I have widgets in my sidebar that do not appear at all on mobile devices. I am not sure how to handle this. Any advice?

There is a problem with SSL and YouTube thumbnails.

I think you should use “//img.youtube.com/…” instead of “https://img.youtube.com/…”

As I place the Youtube in the post it doesn’t show the video and thumbnail on the homepage.

Video are not clickable to play as well.

The image files that video slider use on the left are very small, so they look fuzzy. Why doesn’t the slider use the original file with the correct size?

Another question: why doesn’t show the slider “themotion-video-play-button”? In blog section it doesn’t show either. It only shows in “last posts” (down the video slider).

I’m just trying to customize TheMotion Lite theme. I’ve done almost nothing except add a site icon and logo. But now the site title and tagline are just gone. No text at all. Why? I’ve deleted and re installed it and nothing happens. It shows the title and tagline in the customize admin panel, but nothing is reflected on the actual site.

We paid for the full theMotion theme and it’s full of bugs. Most I’ve been able to fix, but here’s a big one:

Full width page is auto labeling the h1 title from the main page, as well as pulling the picture from the header from the main (.page-main-header .entry-title)

Rather than going in and making a child theme and forcibly changing the CSS, is there a way around this?

I’d like to be able to add a ‘Read More’ link to the items in the Home Page carousel. Is this possible?

If so, could you tell me how? Will it be possible to do this without creating a child theme? For instance, can I add a function using a plugin (like Custom Functions) to do this?

I am using themotion lite to make a website. To have the posts from a specific category as a ‘newspage’ I put the category in the menu. But now the page title shows “Category: Projects” instead of just the name of the category “Projects”. How can I take away the “Category” part from the page title??
