Header disappeared after updating to latest version

Hello,

I updated WordPress to 4.6 and then right away updated Tikva theme, and since doing that, the site header has disappeared. Please could you let me know what I need to do to fix this?

Tikva Menu with Submenu Doesn't Work

I have created a site using the Tikva theme. I am using the default setting for the Navbar Fixed Options and Navbar Style. When I add a sub-menu item to the top level menu item the top level menu item no longer navigates to the page it is associated with. It only drops down the menu for sub-menu item selection. Is there a way to fix this?
