with the latest WP version and tracks 1.79, there seems to be a PHP8 issue – according to a google search.

WordPress-Version 6.5.5
Aktives Theme: Tracks (Version 1.79)
Aktuelles Plugin: ?(Version )
PHP-Version 8.2.18

Issue occurs if I try to create a new post., however it is clearly linked to the theme as using one of the default themes it works directly.

Issue location: wp-content/themes/tracks/functions.php:567

Uncaught TypeError: Unsupported operand types: string % int?

I need the header, containing t?o div’s to stock to the top of the Display, everytime and on any device.

Hi, I have a WP blog since many years, and I just changed the theme for Tracks (thanks). I have 2 questions :

1- Menu: when I open the menu on Mobile, all pages are displayed one after the other, whereas I would like to have only the main sections displayed. And then when you click on 1 section, the pages inside each should be displayed. (ex : we should see only Blog/Reunion/European Roadtrip… and when you click on “Reunion” it should display “all articles/bathing/activities…”).
How to do this?

2- Landing Page: Since now, my main page was a Blog page. Now I would like to have a real homepage/landing page. Is there a demo/tuto of a landing page with the Tracks theme? Should I use a specific page builder?
(I would like a good looking homepage with a first big picture fullwidth, differents section : last articles, a main video… like on this blog for example: https://thefoxesphotography.com/ (even if it’s more simple, but to give you an idea).

i had updated to php from 7.4 to 8.0 yesterday and after that i got errors in the admin area and the homepage was no longer accessible. is tracks in the latest version compatible with php8 or was that possibly an error caused by a plugin?

Hello! Years ago I added in some CSS to change the appearance of some titles – putting a blue lozenge shape around them (in the above link this can be seen by scrolling down to the subscribe widget, but also in the titles of all of my blogs https://liza-frank.com/blog/ and if you scroll down to the bottom of a blog post to the Related Posts there is a variation of a double lined black lozenge). I’d like to revert back to the original Tracks version and get rid of this amendment, but when I delete the Additional CSS in the Customise window, the only thing that changes is the ‘sign me up’ button goes black and has an odd outline. Where else do I need to look to make the change back? Many thanks!

In the articles and pages the images inserted in the text are not displayed but only the featured image is displayed. How do I go about displaying images in text?

I want to ask, is it possible to do something (delete? disable?) with the block of publications on the main page, which has nothing in it? Well, that is, it seems to me that this is for publications because the design is similar.

Usually I make my featured images 1920 x 1080 px. But sometimes I have to make them 1920 x 1280 px. In that case, the bottom area of the featured image is not visible in the single post. Is there any way te prevent that?

I’m not sure if this is something affected by the update recently (it’s my first post since then), or something within the coding of the article itself, but can you see anything here that is making the article too large for mobile? I thought it may have been an image sizing issue or something but I downsized them all and it still shows as wide.

I needed the code or the method by which I can make the posts in full width.

Today I was installing google tag manager and I have somehow managed to mess up my file editor and this is now displaying at the top of my page:

I am pretty sure I have deleted the <body> tag by accident within the file editor (ARGGH!)
This is what the file editor is showing. Not sure what has happened, I was also attempting to adjust the h1 font size in the CSS and it stopped being editable as well….

Facebook no longer shows my website preview when I share the link to the home page, it seems to work fine with individual posts and categories.

I’m getting this error in the FB sharing debugger tool:

“caution-solidWarnings That Should Be Fixed Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.”

I tried with https:// and https:// and even just www. (I have all redirecting to https://www with no luck.

I’ve adjusted the background color for Primary Menu Submenu Background to be a yellow color with black text, this works fine when on computer, but when viewing the site on mobile, the background is black with black text. How do I change the background for Primary Menu Submenu Background on mobile?

is it possible to show different headers (images) on different subpages with one code snippet?

with the add-on “unique headers” it does not work and my php knowledge is too weak for the adjustments and additions needed for the solution with a second header.php.

I tried the Tracks Theme, but I don’t understand the concept of ‘Featured Images’?

All of my posts appeared without any images. I can’t believe that I would have to enter a ‘featured image’ on every post (there are thousands) in order for this to work?

What am I missing?

I recently had an issue with my site that I had to disable plugins to get to the source of. I have since figured it out and reactivated the plugins but my slider is missing due to the disappearance of a widget area below my menu.

It might be because I no longer subscribe to the premium version of Tracks… I’m not sure.

The slider is still available in the backend, I’m just not sure how to reinstate it at the front.

Hey, I have a strange issue with the homepage. When I click on the “read more” section to open a page from the home page, nothing happens. This is consistent to both PC and phone versions of the website.
My latest version of Tracks is installed.
Please help!

I have the free version of the theme and have been using it for a while. I saw on the demo that there is a post without the use of a photo and looks to be full width. Is this available on the standard version of the theme of does that require a different upgrade?

The latest update to Tracks will not work for me – it returns an error when I process it. I looked at the log to do it manually but couldn’t see the latest version available there.

Also, my social icons etc have disappeared! Not sure if that’s related to the slider I put in.

Is there a way of applying a customisable “Featured Articles” widget or something like that at the top of my main blog page? I have tried a few different widgets and plug-ins but they have not been easily editable lay-out wise (I would prefer an image grid as opposed to a list). I have also tried using image/text widgets but neither really does what I require it to.

I was wondering if Tracks had anything compatible?

Heya, just wondering if there’s a way to increase the margins on one particular page so the text and images can go much closer to the side-edges of the container.

By default there is quite a bit of padding, but for a more meaty blog post, I’d like to have more width to work with.

Can this be changed for a specific-page only?

There’s a weird problem with my website. On the homepage, the first link doesn’t work. When you press it, nothing happens. When you go to the direct address, you get a blank page, although when I login to the admin panel the page exists there and everything seems fine.
What’s going on here?
