Easy to use and beauty theme. For a client good theme for a use.

Taking this theme out for a spin and mostly loving it. The only thing that irks me is the photo file compression on the home page.

(1) The slider bar looks great but it only allows you to use the featured image from the post and right now I am unable to change the featured image once it posts, so it limits which ones I can use. (the featured image being stuck is not the themes fault, just a wp issue I have)
(2) The slider bar on mobile compresses the featured posts and it looks distorted.
(3) The latest post are displayed, but instead of compressing the photo it crops it. Not a big problem.

If the theme works best with certain photo sizes, it would be nice to know. Otherwise my only thoughts are that I would rather have a plugin with a drop down menu where I could select which posts I want to display, instead of editing each post independently to show up on the homepage.

Also I’m looking for a way to remove the extra featured image from posting again at the top of each post like a header. The feature looks great for the homepage, but I don’t need it to clutter the post with the same image twice but with more text on top. The image is suppose to be the star of the show on that page. After the post published I removed the first picture because the featured image is now prevalent. See 7 Places to Explore near Nantes
