So far I’ve been using Beaver Builder (in continuing text I’ll refer to it as just BB) with Tribute theme without problems. Today, when I opened a post to edit it with BB, none of the buttons for adding rows and editing were working. I’ve installed another theme, and the BB works well, meaning that the problem must be in the Tribute theme I suppose. Is there any way to see what is causing the BB not to work with Tribute theme anymore, as I’ve somewhat customized the theme and would hate to have to change it to another.
Thank you!
Can you please help me resolve the issue with the drop down menu not working for iPad mini? Thank you
]]>Firstly let me say how I like the theme very much – thank you for creating.
The bad news is that while editing the website with this theme, the header text (site title tagline) and suddenly un-centered and the Menu shifted into the header image. I’ve tried removing css rules in child theme ( which I have activated ) and that does not help. Going back to the parent theme also leaves the header out of center and the menu in header image – you have to look carefully as there is only one menu item (Home). At the point where I got this problem, I had the following plugins installed
Autoptimize
Version 2.0.2
Cookie Notification
Version 1.0
Really Simple Share
Version 4.5
Simple contact form
Version 14.13
I’ve added more plugins now though.
Please tell me how to fix this as I don’t want to find another theme to use.
(before this theme, I was using tecblogger theme which had off center Title and tagline)
https://carecuts.org.uk
The pages are not containing a default video embed ( from pasting in links from youtube, vimeo, etc.)
When the browser is narrow enough the video bleed over into the sidebar of the sidebar template. It occurs when the browser widow is around 1160-1170px wide but before the first media query breakpoint kicks in.
Adding the CSS works to fix it:
iframe {width:100%;}
But you should really address this in your theme CSS.
cheers,
GM
I can upload banner images successfully using this theme, but they never appear on the site. Not sure why.
Is there also a way to show the full text of posts rather than just excerpts? I’d like for readers to see the full text on the home page without having to click “continue reading.”
I’d love to use this theme. It looks really nice.
My site is https://josephdante.com.
Thank you for any help in advance.
]]>I have my home page showing all the posts I write, and the sidebar on the right, just as on the theme preview (without that giant header picture), which is a perfect layout for what I need.
However, I would like to have this layout (posts+sidebar) on the other pages -I have News, Lists and Reviews. These pages would show posts that I have assigned certain categories to, as I’ve used a plugin to then assign to pages which categories to show (basically, 4 out of 5 pages that I have, are showing posts).
I have tried to set Pages to use Full Width Template, but the layout gets messed up, fonts change and sidebar disappears. When using Home Page Template, nothing appears.
My guess is that I would have to change some .php file(s) so that I could make a Template to use for these pages. The problem is that, although I have tried, I have no idea of what these codes in .php actually mean, so I can’t make the layout that I want (posts+sidebar) myself.
Any help would be great. Thank you!
]]>Hi, how can I do to get the banner responsive? The link is cienta.org, the image is responsive but the box and text aren’t.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
]]>Hi,
I like your theme but there is no footer widget. Is there any I can add a footer? I only want to add some text and links.
Thanks
Hi, I am using this beautiful theme, and I updated WordPress just when I was importing databases, so I cannot find what has changed, but now my Menu Bar is aligned to left and cannot find how to center.
Could you please help me to correct this? I am wondering if the update has played a role in this change…
]]>I have comments turned off for all posts, and would like to remove the “no comments” (comment counting) element from posts altogether so that this text does not appear. Based on previous WP support blog postings, I’ve looked in archive.php, single.php and index.php but can’t determine what to modify. I see there is a comments.php, but I don’t know if this is where I need to be looking.
Thanks in advance.
]]>Hello. I’m having difficulty getting an uploaded banner image to appear. The file uploads and saves, but doesn’t appear on the site.
Alternately, if I try to upload the same image as a “header” (which I don’t want — I want it as my banner image), it appears, but is truncated from the instructed size (1060 x 250). It is cropping it shorter than 250px and doubling it horizontally.
I assume the recommended 1060 x 250 dimension is intended for the banner image, not the header image (although 1060 x 250 is the dimensions it asks for).
Not sure what I am doing incorrectly, or where my confusion lies.
Thanks in advance for any help.
