Twenty Twenty theme is the sole free WordPress theme I truly like. It’s perfect for personal journaling and publishing stories. The only problem with this theme is that we cannot change the fonts and their sizes! (Perhaps I don’t know how to do that!) I hope the community will keep updating this theme for as long as I’m alive! ??

I’ve been using page builders for the past few years, but the issue is the slow page speed as so many unnecessary elements are loaded. I am now starting to convert the sites to Gutenberg using the Twenty Twenty theme. It is fast loading, easy to customise and has clean code. What more could you ask for?

Es lo mejor que he encontrado para desarrollar mi blog de autor/editor,desde noviembre de 2019 a la fecha, tomando los temas por defecto de www.ads-software.com. Después de casi dos meses de lidiar con Divi (entre enero y febrero de 2021), volví a Twenty-Twenty, que tenía guardado por seguridad, y estoy muy contento de haberlo hecho. Pegué un código para mejorar el botón de “leer más” en la caja de CSS personalizado de las opciones del tema de Divi, el resultado fue desastroso, desapareció todo el contenido del blog, excepto la cabecera. A la verdad, adquirir el tema Divi, fue pésima idea porque nunca salí del sistema de bloques Gutenberg. Con ochenta artículos publicados, el constructor de Divi no fue de utilidad, y la plantilla por defecto y opciones personalizadas de Divi nunca mejoraron lo que ya obtuve con Twenty-Twenty, por ejemplo, acá tienes el botón ?seguir leyendo?, sin meter CSS.

I like the minimalistic style of this great theme. And I really like the pullquotes which can be floated left or right. Actually I was really very very happy about the great enhancements.
The integration of the Gutenberg-Blocks – and the plenty Gutenberg-Plugings is just great: i love this. The support is gerat: love the worldwidde community that works hard – and really loves to run the theme.
allready :: by far more than 1000 000 downloads and installation. That is overwehlming!

During the present semester at the multimedia design programme I used this theme for teaching WordPress. Since it’s more or less bundled with the new block editor the choice is obvious.
The didactic value of this theme is its simplicity. If you look into a page like search.php, single.php or similar you’ll get a good idea of the code you need in order to tweak any theme.
In class I used the theme as a mutual reference in tutorials and workshops, since the students explored many different themes, like Astra, Neve, and so forth.
The code and comments behind the theme is excellent.
Some users want “more fonts”. Adding fonts in custom CSS is always an option. Why give your users access to a plethora of fonts? It will ruin the design, if the users begin to add more or less fancy fonts here and there.
Some things are still kept in the dark. For instance: how to create or remove patterns. Here the documentation could be better – partly in the theme and partly on the online documentation on www.ads-software.com. Whether this is a theme or something else issue is a matter of taste.
I worked with the theme during most of 2020, and found that the pagebuilder plugins became obsolete. I simply had to remove Elementor – and friends – because the new blog editor was the tool I needed.

This theme is excellent if you have more visitors from mobile.
AMP compatible and you get more options to disable/enable some stuff like featured images, display date, categories and tags in content… if you are using jetpack.
The only problem i found is with jetpack infinite scroll, where i had a button appearing in Pages, and it should appear only on categories pages. i removed it with css for now.
The problem is related to footer widgets area (read jetpack infinite scroll documentation)

I just fall in love with this theme. this is the second WordPress theme which comes with the block support after Twenty nineteen. I am using the following two plugins with this theme for more customization. one is Twentig – Twenty Twenty Customization and second is Extra Options For The Twenty Twenty Theme. and I am really happy with the layout. thank you team for making this happen.
