How can I add categories into menu on every post of blog with 223 theme? I can only have pages in the top menu, but no post categories. Thanks.

]]>Dear All,
Everything seems to be working but I am only getting 2 lines instead of the 3 Hamburger Lines for navigation on Android phones. We have had several people complain this confuses them.
I have looked online and here in the Forums and have not found anyone else with this problem.
It is a standard install hosted at GoDaddy using the 2023 Theme and I think only two additional Plug-Ins (would need to go look for sure, one is to limit Log-Ins).
Thank You,
Jeff Collins

]]>Hi, all in a sudden the content of all my tables have a uppercase character at the beginning. How can I prevent this?
The HTML at the start of the table looks:
figure class=”wp-block-table is-style-stripes has-medium-font-size” style=”text-transform:none”>
So no idea why it is still tranforing.
Anybody can help me please??
Thanks a lot in advance.
]]>Yesterday, I changed some things on my home page, and only now do I notice that I lost the header on that page. It is (or: was and should be) the same as on the other pages: logo on the left, search field and to the right the menu.
I thought, I could just add the header block/template/pattern, but cannot find that anywhere… For now, I have ‘manually’ added the menu. Could also add columns and put in logo and seach widget – but isn’t this defined together as the Header…?!
It’s some time since I created these pages, and I cannot remember how I did it in the first place.
Help on getting the header back on the home page would be appreciated!
]]>Hi community
I created a site with Twenty Twenty Three and wrote small CSS additions for various places in ‘Additional CSS’ (screenshot) under the ‘Design’ section. In one of the last updates, this option disappeared from the section, and with it all the CSS rules I had defined. They are all still active, but no longer accessible or editable.
My questions:
How can I make those specific CSS rules I wrote accessible and editable again?
Can the original ‘Additional CSS’ be reactivated? (I have found other places for editing CSS C inside the website editor as well as in the plugin ‘Custom CSS and Java’, which in turn appears in the ‘Design’ section C but neither of them makes my rules accessible.)
Thank you for your answers or references to same, already existing topics.
I am happy to provide details.
Hi,
I usually use Elementor, but I’m doing a ‘quick’ job for a client in the Twenty Twenty-Three theme on their blog. I’ve set up the Blog (Alternative) template how I want the blog home page to look, and I’ve selected it as the page attribute on the front page, but the live page is blank other than header and footer.
Can someone help me please?!
Steve
]]>My site is coming along nicely, and I like the Twenty Twenty-Three theme, but I’d like to reduce the amount of blank space under the menu block. Some of my pages will have featured images (banners), and some may not — so I’d like to reduce the whitespace on both types of pages. This will not be a blog site, so all the pages will be regular static pages.
I struggled with this issue for quite a while, and I tried to adjust padding and margins, but it didn’t have the desired effect. Also, the whitespace is still there even if the menu bar doesn’t have the logo image in it, so it’s not the logo that’s pushing everything down.
I’m guessing that there’s a CSS solution here, but I don’t know what it is. Thank you for any help you can provide.
Here’s an example of a page without a featured image. Still too much whitespace.
]]>I’m creating a new site using the Twenty Twenty Three. I would like to change the styling for all the links on the site, including the top menu, the footer, and the body of each page. I would like unvisited links to be underlined and blue. Visited links should be underlined and purple. Active links should be underlined and red.
I did some research online and tried the following CSS, but it didn’t seem to work C or maybe I entered it into the wrong place:
/* Menu links */
.wp-block-navigation-item__content {
text-decoration: underline;
}
.wp-block-navigation-item__content:link {
color: blue;
}
.wp-block-navigation-item__content:visited {
color: purple;
}
.wp-block-navigation-item__content:active {
color: red;
}
/* Text links */
a {
text-decoration: underline;
}
a:link {
color: blue;
}
a:visited {
color: purple;
}
a:active {
color: red;
}
I’m fairly new to WordPress, so don’t assume too much knowledge on my part. But I can follow instructions. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
]]>Hi, for this site, there are three submenu items under Shop.
How can I align the sub menu items to have the same paidding as the main items?
Also, using css could I set the sub menu items to look less prominent? Like font-style=regular/thin/etc ?
I really wish we had collapsible menus for this theme ??

My challenge is to re-organize the “main group” elements under collumns/containers with some flexbox adjustments ===> 3 columns the price+addToCart options in a column, ProductTitle+Reviews+Meta in a column then ProductGallery in another column.
I am still fighting with this TT3 theme.
If you look at my testpage, the header is not in line with the rest of the page (main content and footer).
I use webpagemanager in Firefox and I need to do this for my header only
element {
padding-top: var(–wp–preset–spacing–0);
padding-right: var(–wp–preset–spacing-0);
padding-bottom: var(–wp–preset–spacing–0);
padding-left: var(–wp–preset–spacing–0);
}
How?

Hello,
I am using WordPress via my employers web hosting service, but they no longer offer support. Im hoping you can help me troubleshoot some issues with the theme Twenty Twenty-Three.
I just updated to WordPress 6.6, and it broke my site’s fonts. (YES I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE BACKED UP BEFORE UPDATING YES I AM TRASH YOU DON’T NEED TO TELL ME THAT)
Not all my fonts are broken. Lower-level headers still display as they ought to. But my site title font (which is the same as my lower-level header fontwhy one displays correctly and the other doesn’t, I have no idea) and my body type font are wrecked. Times New Roman on my PC, a Helvetica clone on my phone. The fonts I’ve been using happily for the last year and a half don’t even appear as options when I try to edit styles. The options that do appear are dreary. I don’t want to switch to new fonts. I loved the ones I had. I want them back.
Is this fixable? If so, how?
]]>Hello! I’m trying to make it so that the columns fills in the empty page if the page is zoomed out. If the page is zoomed in, it would look normal. Although, there would be tons of empty space if you try to zoom out the webpage.
Here’s what it looks like in the List View:
If you zoom out, you’ll see a ton of space that shouldn’t be there:
Note that the category list on the right needs to stay there.

I’m trying to find where the custom templates are located in the file manager, but can’t seem to find it. The reason why I’m trying to find it is due to the size of the WPForm that I put. For some odd reason, it makes the form really wide and I’m trying to figure how I can change. I’ve tried using their additional CSS input, but it didn’t really change anything.
]]>While trying to make the pages, the contents that I put in the editor does not show in the actual page when I save & publish. Any idea(s) why this is happening?
]]>Hi, I’m confused about site vs. page editing.
I have a very simple TT23 based site at https://berforst.de
The front page template has a bit of text followed by query loop + post template. In the editor, I can see how posts are pulled in. When rendering the actual front page, I get the content from the front page (not the template), currently just a text “oh hello there”. So, the post content block pulls in the actual page, not the blog posts.
When I edit the front page to have a query loop + post template to pull in the news there, it doesn’t show. Again, it shows in the editor, but not on the page.
The news (blog posts) show correctly on the separate news page for it at https://berforst.de/news-page/
So either WP or I am confused on the meaning of post template on the front page template and/or the front page. Any help appreciated!
Dirk
]]>Hello fellow wordpressers, I decided to try out wordpress locally via xampp, to finally start with that blog. Pretty quickly hit a snafu –
The default page, home page, where posts are displayed is itself like a mother template I guess?
There is the alt page template that I like (can’t remember the exact name – something something “alternative”), but I cant switch it out for the default homepage template, unless I create a new page, apply that alt template and then designate that as my homepage, right? There is no way to change the default homepage template directly?
]]>I finally got the header not to stretch across the page by putting it into the main group block. However, now the stick function isnt working so that the title and menu arent fixed at the top of the page and scrolling down scrolls it out the top. Is there a way to fix that without pulling the header out of the group block?
]]>I’m really new to the use of blocks and block themes even though I have been with WP for some time. That makes me think I am missing something fundamentally easy. That and I can’t seem to find too many posts here or elsewhere about this.
I have 2023 installed. I go to Design then Pages then Blog Home then edit. I have a Query Loop set up:
Everything works fine but when I insert the Excerpt tag after the Title
it looks fine in the editor but when I look at the site, the excerpts are all at the top of the page:
Am I putting the excerpt tag in the wrong place? I’ve tried it a couple of different ways.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out here.
]]>I have not been editing my site for a bit, however I do all upgrades weekly, so he site is always up to date.
I recently wanted to add a menu item to the navigation and I find I can not.. Navigation has a lock shown. Investigation said to click on three dots… there are no three dots.
Also, after clicking on Navigation it shows all the menu items on the right of the screen, but there is no plus + sign after the list. How can I add new menu items.
When editing I go to get the blocks and there are none, only a search box.
I know all this is probably a simple issue if I could turn off the lock, but how there are no three dots to edit the block.
I am sorry for the lack of better terminology…. not a programmer.
Is there some way I can show screen shots?

Thank you!
]]>There must have been an update to 2023 recently, because a quirk thats been there since I first created my site has disappeared (the down arrow next to a middle horizontal menu item, which previously appeared lower than a down arrow next to an end item, now appears as it should). Unfortunately, it seems that another anomaly was introduced: an extra scrollbar now appears (in three up-to-date browsers Ive checked) on the Linkfire embed Im using on almost all my pages (via the Custom HTML block). The embed itself has a scrollbar that allows people to listen to the song on the music service of their choice, but now theres an extra one on the level above, which makes the appearance sloppy and hard to use. I have not jumped into trying to fix with CSS or Javascript yet, but hope one of you experts might be able to diagnose the problem here Thank you for any help!
