This has been one of my favorite themes to work with. Super clean and easy to work with. The developer has been first class in responding to any support questions I have, incredibly fast as well! Definitely give this theme a shot, you won’t be disappointed!

In free version you can’t do much. Users can’t see what this theme can do, without buying. I suggest to give all features enabled for few days for testing purposes. Other way, many users try it, see it’s not very useful and uninstall.
Full version is other story, with many options, so you can make a web site just the way you like.

Stumbled on a menu issue where any words ending with *xing would not display. Support had it sorted quickly and in a professional manner. Much appreciated the help there.
I just need to give a positive plug to the Pro Version of Ultra – It’s well worth the small price. Do yourself a favour and check it out.

The Ultra+ theme is great (my FAVORITE). I’m impressed by the ease of set-up (even for a WP beginner). The versatility of design along with everything needed in the customizing menu gave me the ability to see a live preview before publishing. It’s OBVIOUS that the author put a lot of effort into creating Ultra+ because it’s so easy to use – my admin board isn’t cluttered with a bunch of plugins. The interface is clean and simple… perfect!

I just want to say that Andrew has been great at answering my questions about this theme, even though I’m using the free version. He gets back to me quickly, and solved my minor issues for me. This is my first time using this theme, and it’s always hard to know how the support will be, but he’s been great so far!
Edit: I’ve recently used this theme to replace an old theme that was great but not responsive, and is no longer being updated. Although I didn’t take advantage of some of the features, it did what I needed it to do, and I only had minor fixes to make after the conversion, not really having to do with the theme.
Edit: I now have this installed on 5 sites, some pro, some free, and the support is great, although I haven’t needed that much. I wish some other themes had support as good as this.

Can’t recommend this enough, has amazing settings control for almost all theme appearances built right in. Great free theme but I upgraded to the Premium and all together was worth it many times over any other template I’ve purchased for $60 or more.

I am very happy to have chosen this theme. It is easily manageable, very reliable and the support seems excellent. So far I have been able to solve whatever little issues I had via the FAQ pages (I haven’t built many WP pages yet so there have been a few questions, but they are not due to any bugs or difficulties in this theme). The most responsive, thorough and helpful support I’ve ever experienced! Thanks to Andrew’s support, my WordPress learning curve is getting smaller and smaller at a much quicker pace than when I tried creating a site a few years ago (I eventually gave up on that attempt)! The theme is simple to use and customize, operates smoothly, looks great on all platforms, and is super affordable! I’m really liking the theme’s design, which is of course a bit of a personal taste issue also.
Apart from that the theme is working great (responsive and all) and it has a lot of build in options to customize it to your needs. I’ve found it quite easy to work with – as always when trying out a new theme, you need to take a few minutes to look around and check how and where to set things up. There’s a well maintained documentation also.. ??
Most outstanding is the support from theme author Andrew, in case you’re having a question – I’m usually not talking in superlatives, but this is really the best support I’ve come accross so far here. Respect & Big thanks Andrew!

There’s no way to customize colors or fonts, set background or header images.
The slider in this theme can only be used to advertise the theme, because you can’t remove the included images and put in your own images. If you turn the slider off, you have no graphics on your front page.
You can install a plugin to create your own slider (they suggest a specific plugin for the purpose). But you can do that whether or not you use this theme. What’s the purpose of the slider code in the theme? It’s useless unless the point of your website is to be a huge banner ad for Ultra theme. What a waste.

This theme is clean and the support is great. Best of all, unlike other themes, you get to build your website on it before deciding if you need it! Great to see a solid follow up to Misplon’s first theme Puro. Ultra has a good responsive design and that home page slider works lovely even on big resolution screens – not to mention seamless integration into the free MetaSlider plugin.

“The ultra wordpress theme looks awesome and the best part is it’s a free theme, I really love this theme and my site is starting to come together and looks really sharpe thanks to this amazing theme also the theme designer Andrew Misplon from Puro themes provided me with great support when I needed assistance in setting up a few things I aslo found a plugin “Easy Responsive Shortcodes” messed up my site and after submitting a support ticket, a few hours later Andrew was on the case and for the past few days he has be amazing providing me with information and support and even went as far as logging in to my site to correct some files that were messed up.
