Hi there,

I make use of the Max Mega Menu plugin on my site with Site Origin’s Vantage theme, and have done so successfully for some years.

After updating Vantage to version 1.20.25, the width of Max Mega Menu elements has been adversely impacted.

Mega menu items are no longer full site width, and the mobile menu has shrunk to less than square.

Are there any known integration issues with Max Mega Menu and current version of Vantage, and any potential solutions?

The header font over the background image changes from white to black on mobile.

How do I fix? the site is on wordpress.com. The font is set to white, but reverts to default colour on mobile.

I have a plugin that requires wp_enqueue_editor() to enqueue editor scripts & stylesheets on the frontend, however, the issue is that the Vantage menu bar does not expand 100% width when using wp_enqueue_editor().

Hello everyone, I would like to limit the number of blog entries. So only 4 or 8 pages should be displayed in the blog. All others should be found on a second and third page etc.

I have searched the forum, but could not find a real solution to move the menu bar under the slider.

When I use this CSS code:

main-slider { position: relative; top: -80px; z-index: 3; }

then a box with the background color pushes the whole page hard to the bottom.

Is there no button in the customizer to say: Hey, I wanna the menu under the slider? ??

Or exists another better css code somehow? ??

AND… the mobile menu doesn’t work. As soon as I deactivate the AMP plugin then the mobile menu works perfectly. So this is an AMP problem with Vantage. What can I do to have a mobile menu and AMP? ??

On every page I can see the H1 and H2 and according to SEO it is good to have both placed with the same keywords, but if I call up a page now H1 and H2 is shown and so I have the two same headings. That looks double placed. Can I hide one of these? ??

I installed the plugin and added the filters as desribed in https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/local-google-fonts-w-o-effect-under-vantage/

If I select a non local font under theme design/fonts I still see requests towards fonts.gstatic.com and fonts.googleapis.com. This means the filters have no effect.

Do you have any hint for me?

Hello, I seem to be having an issue with a header image. I removed the header image from the CSS. And when I refresh any page that header image still shows up.

Ideally I want the header image on certain pages and not on all. Which is handled by setting a feature image on the actually page.

Since I removed the URL from the CSS file how is it able to still show?

In short, 3Sixty Insights is updating our logo…. However, I’ve tried every option imaginable and for whatever reason when we change it, it expands to a version that is much larger than our current one on our site. In most cases, it expands to the entire width of the page. I just spent 45 minutes with WordPress support and they are tell me it is a Vantage issue and not WordPress

After upgrading Vantage theme from 1.20.14 to 1.20.15, the MetaSlider FlexSlider option stopped working. Images do not rotate, arrows and/or dots do not display. Happens with all MetaSlider themes. The R. Slides, Nivo Slider, Coin Slider options on all MetaSlider themes do work as intended.

How can I fix as the CSS is written for the FlexSlider option?

How can we link the featured image in posts to show the large or full size? We have a lightbox plugin, so we can just add rel=”lighbox” to the link.

Is there a hook we can use in our child theme’s functions.php, perhaps?

I have a draft sandbox page in which I try out various things before I try them on a published page. I have a series of three vertical tabs I created using the SiteOrigin Tabs widget. I can’t find a way to change the background color of each tab to a different color (for example, I’d like to make tab 1 red, tab 2 blue, and tab 3 yellow). I’ve tried doing that in the widget’s Widget Styles/Attributes/CSS Declarations field, but it hasn’t worked so far. I’m probably entering the wrong content. My theme is Vantage.

Here are my questions:

1. Can custom CSS be applied to a draft page or will the custom CSS not appear until the page is published?

2. If it is possible to change individual tab background colors in the Widget Styles/Attributes/CSS Declarations field, what CSS content/code/syntax should I enter to do that?

3. If it is possible to change individual tab background colors in the Appearance/Custom CSS editor, what CSS content/code/syntax should I enter to do that?

EDIT: Again, I’ve managed to solve it by myself ?? I’ve figured I can style .main-navigation:after ??

I’m really happy with Vantage theme and Site Origin Page Builder and have easily managed to make customisations, but there’s one thing that I’d love to implement on my website and I can’t seem to be able to find a good way.

I’d like to have a custom full-width bar (above .entry-header) with a background colour (and pattern), for decoration. I’ve achieved this by styling header with the following code:

.entry-header {
margin: 0 -9999rem;
padding: 1rem 9999rem;
background-color: #f5f5fb; }

and by making .entry-title transparent but this is a very dirty workaround and it means that I get several colour bars on my blog page, for each post, whereas post titles are invisible.

Is there any other way to achieve this? I would be very grateful for your help!

UPDATE: I’ve found it ??

I’ve installed this theme because I’ve read that “Vantage is built around SiteOrigin Page Builder, offering you maximum control over your page layouts with and intuitive drag-and-drop interface” but I can’t find a way to use the Page Builder with any page besides homepage. Among the templates to choose there’s just Page Builder Homepage. I will be grateful for your help!

Hi. Is there a way to style page titles differently from post titles? For example, on the linked category page, ‘TRICKS OF THE MIND’ is the title of the page, and ‘WHAT DO WE HAVE ACCESS TO?’ is the title of a post from the category. I’d like to style them differently but can’t work out how to do it. I’d also like to apply the same page title styling to the titles of regular pages as well as category pages. Can anyone help, please?

Hi — Can you help, please? My website has a number of category pages, and I’d like to use the category names as titles for the relevant pages. How can I do this, please? I have tried adding a category *description*, which does show at the top of the relevant page (see link), but it is in tiny italic text. Is there a way I can style it like my other page titles? Or is there another way to display the category name as the page title? I’d be very grateful for any advice.

I had to realize that something must have been changed. Before never error… it is now also no matter which version of WP Fastest Cache is used.

The console spits out these errors.

• Mobile menu does not expand.

• Blog Post Loop can’t be moved anymore neither by touch nor by arrows.
• Pages with SiteOrigin Accordion no longer expand.

The only solution is to turn off the “Render-Blocking-JS” option in the cache plugin, but unfortunately the speed suffers greatly.

The support of WP Fastest Cache says that it is not the caching plugin but that something must have been changed in the theme to cause the errors.

Hi, first of all thanks for the great theme.

I have a question about the main menu. Is there an option to set the display of the arrow if the menu contains a submenu? The submenu cannot be recognized unless you point with an mouse arrow on it (as you can see in this screenshot)

I added a custom arrow and it looks quite qood (as you can see here)

until you turn on the mobile menu (this screenshot)

There are arrows twice at once in the mobile menu. Is there any chance to add arrows by default even in classic view or remove the default arrows from the mobile menu?

I need help with theme customization. I select Raleway 300 font for paragraphs but I want that the bold font is 700 weight. How can I do that? I try to do this addind the rule to my CSS but it did not work.

The theme is not letting me reorder rows on a page. The theme is up to date, as is WordPress.

When I grab the row handle and move it, it looks good. Then I hit “Update”, and when it reloads, it’s back the to original order.

How can this be fixed? Thanks for any help.

I have tried various ways around this by using Columns/Groups and centring, but I can’t seem to see any way to add margins to this page.

I am trying to get a set of 3 columns blocks to span the full content width of the row they are contained within. The row block is the full content width, but the columns are not filling up the full space even thought the % add up to 100%. Any insight would be appreciated.

I am able to see tables in custom html preview but the tables do not show in google chrome page preview.
