I use Variations on several websites, and with those using WooCommerce, the mini-cart is no longer working. I checked in with WooCommerce and they are pointing at the theme being the issue.

You can add the mini-cart icon, and it populates the number of items in the cart appropriately, but when you click on the mini-cart icon, the sidebar pulls open and it’s blank inside.

I’ve added a hard link to the cart page inside as a workaround, but I would love to put the mini-cart back.

I observe that anytime i created a blog page and go to my settings and set it as the default page for new post its being over-written with the theme front page.

Kindly help.

I believe it was the WordPress 6.6 update. Unfortunately I can’t simply go back to previous version.

Since the update, my homepage has extra horzontial scroll, with the scrolled area being a block of color.

Also, on my other landing page, a section/block of color (which seems to be linked to ‘content’ section) has appeared at the top of the pages. I’ve managed to get a workaround for this using this CSS:

@media screen {
html {
margin-top: 0px !important; }
}

This fixes the issue on desktop/laptop, but not mobile. Adding further code with @media only screen 782px doesn’t solve it either.

Changing the background color to white on the landing pages kind of solves the issue, but that then creates the horizontal scroll issue on the landing pages.

Hopefully there is an easy solution and it’s something I’ve missed, but I’m struggling to solve this! Thanks

My background changed to dark blue, just randomly. How do I change that back, specifically in a blog post?

Or do I need to re-install the theme?

I’m having various issues since the last wordpress update. Fonts changed, background and galleries aren’t displaying correctly.

I’m a beginner and learning how to use wordpress. The Navigation menu on my site appears in the editor, but not when I visit my site in browser window.

Is there a way to remove dates showing on blog posts? I managed to make the date size super small, but I’d like to remove this completely.

I really like the Variation theme but it doesn’t seem to be installing correctly on my website. I tried installing it by choosing the Variation theme within Bluehost (my hosting platform) dashboard as well as by downloading the zip file from WordPress & uploading it into my Bluehost dashboard. But after installing & activating, when I go to configure the website, instead of showing me the beautiful blue “Magic of Nature Island” page, I am shown a bland white page with the heading “Create Engaging
Experiences with Our Skilled Collaborators”. I am sending two screenshots to show you what I am seeing. I looked at Tyler’s Youtube tutorial “How to make a wordpress website” but at 22:30 the video shows the blue theme being the default theme. I don’t understand what I am doing wrong.

I recently switched to this theme to fully redo our website and after finally getting the website public with help from tech support I am receiving a “saving failed” message any time I attempt to make any adjustments. Can I get some guidance as to why I am receiving this error message at this time?

Is there a setting that I can change to make my blog post feature image show fully?

They are 1200px x 628px. I feel like my text column is also very narrow for blog posts.

I’m encountering an issue with the cover image on my WordPress website. While it displays correctly on desktops, it appears distorted or improperly scaled on mobile devices. Despite attempts to adjust the CSS settings, including using the wp-block-cover and custom-cover classes, the problem persists. I’ve tried various solutions found online, but none have resolved the issue. Seeking guidance on how to ensure the cover image displays correctly across all devices.

Very nice full page patterns. However, for blog grids, the font is much too small on mobile in the predefined layouts

I’m hoping to use and recommend Variations as a block theme for accessible websites.

When I use the theme and try to navigate using the keyboard, I don’t see an initial “Skip to Content” link. I do see that there is something in the HTML that suggests it exists.

Is there any documentation or lesson on this? Is Variations built with accessibility in mind

Hi all. I am new to WordPress, infact this is my first WordPress site. I am having an issue with the toggle menubar when viewing in mobile version. The menu is not opening when clicked. How can I resolve this issue?

I’m new to wordpress. I am building a site using Variations theme.
I have made some sub menus, and all working fine in PC view.
When I view on reduced PC view the parent is non clickable, but child is OK. I have tried several menu plugins, without success.

Good morning I am struggling searching the <head></head> tags to insert the Analytics tag ( i wouldn’t like to use l?plugins). I can’t find it. I was used to find it but not in this theme.

This morning I checked my website and there was now a strange white bar on the left side of every page. Its as if the whole website is moved slightly to the right. I tried to find the issue and could only resolve it by using a different theme.

also from the WP portal I can see and edit my navigation bar but the navigation itself wont appear on the actual website. this issue also resolves if I use a different theme.

I chose to host with WordPress thanks to Tyler Moore on Youtube’s quick guide. I haven’t completely gone through the entire process yet, so when I search for my website, it’s not coming up and is showing as under construction. I also didn’t go through his exact process as my husband decided to purchase his domain through another platform. I’m a total noob at this, and I’m trying to learn, but now I’m getting a little too frustrated, and I’ve paid for this website for a whole year. I am desperate for help.

After I set up the structure last night, I was having trouble with my navigation bar this morning. It wasn’t responding to any of my edits on the navigation bar. I accidentally completely deleted my navigation section. So now when I go to appearances, edit, navigation, the subcategory of navigation is completely gone. I don’t even know what to call this area. I’m getting so confused with the vocabulary of plugins vs. blocks vs. etc. etc. as I’m searching for the answer, and find myself swimming in absolute confusion. Someone please help and give some support/guidance. I’m about ready to just give up and go back to Wix and cut this as a loss.

No matter what I do I can’t find this in the code or get rid of it in the block editor… please help. It’s really ugly and just wastes resources. Pops up for 3-5 seconds and then disappears.

Hello, I have a problem. I can’t add a logo to my page photo. When I try to change the site title to a logo, it does not show the blue picture where I can take a photo and drop it onto the blue icon. The blue icon, where I can drop an image to make it become a logo, doesn’t appear in photo.

I had a blog on Dashyblog theme. I just updated to Variations theme but now the blog page just shows the home page and I cannot make it do otherwise. All my posts are still on my dashboard but I can’t work out how to make them display on my blog page. Please help.
