So, long story short, is there any way to stop showing the featured image? Because I can’t find any way of disabling that, and also, instead of a picture, most of the time there is a video, and it’s overlaping. Any help would be appreciated.

As you can see by visiting my website, the demo files from the VidCast theme aren’t being imported properly. I have contacted my server (EasyWP by Namecheap) and they show it is all setup with very generous php limits. It did say it has a file upload limit of 20 files. However, they say this cannot be altered.
