Warning message is shown on the top of the product tag page “Warning: Undefined variable $background_image in?/home/XXXX/XXXX/public_html/wp-content/themes/vilva/inc/template-functions.php?on line?259” in the website using the theme Vilva and woocommerce.

Is it possible for your team to solve this message by updating the theme or do I have to create a child theme to delete this message by myself?

i’m using the free version of vilva, and if someone want to put a review on my products ( all of them) , there are no Labels for fields ‘comment’, ‘name’ and ’email’?. So they can’t put a review if there are not log.

love the theme, however im having a problem with the POSTS.

Every post I publish has ADMIN above it, with an avatar. Is there any way to remove this please?

I have the following problems.

1. Sticky header is not working on the landing page, although it is working normally on other posts

2. Quick edit button is not working, and it is throwing an empty error that I can’t debug

3. Reply to comment button is not working on any post, the JS / Plugin seems to be broken

4. The OWL Carousel / Banner Slider plugin always has lazy loading enabled, and it slows down the entire landing page, seems like the code is somewhere in the theme, you can’t disable this behavior even if you’re using anti lazy load plugins or code, can’t find where it is in the theme

Please do not suggest disabling plugins and such, I tried disabling all plugins, installing other themes, reconfiguring Cloudflare, everything I have done so far has isolated that all the problems are within this theme. And I have zero idea how to fix any of them, after more than 50 hours of debugging, please help.

I have a problem with the bar of my menu. When my website is opened on mobile devices and its on light mode, its all good. However, when it is on dark mode, one cannot see the menu.
Therefore I wonder if I can change the colour of the menu dropdown bar on mobile devices?
Is there a way to do that in CSS?

You need to make a submenu for the pages: “for him”, “for her”, “children” – with categories (of different genders, respectively. This submenu should be visible when you are on the page. How can this be implemented?

How can I display the logo only on the home page and not in the inner pages of my website?
I have searched through theme’s files and I have found here (/themes/vilva/inc/template-functions.php) that the logo is displayed by a php function called vilva_site_branding .
But I cannot find this vilva_site_branding function anywhere within my website (I used the search from my cpanel and also I have downloaded all my websites files and searched through all of them). This function seems to not exists…

I just have a problem on the homepage – there is a big gap under the banner section, as if the images of the banner, when it goes on the left hand side, was too big (I can see the title of the post way below the banner section).

1. Theres a big empty space on the mobile version. It’s between the site categorys and the site title. It’s like that on all pages. See linked image

I absolutely love this theme but am having some issues with the customization. I’d like to have comments turned on within my posts, but when I have them on in the theme a “leave a comment” sticky appears on the left sidebar area. This causes my post to be off-center and I can not figure out how to remove it. I have spent a few hours going all over my settings to find it with no luck.

If I go into General Settings > Post(Blog) & Pages Settings and toggle the comments feature off it will shift the page back to center – but then I have no comments. I can’t seem to find the solution in the themes settings, posts settings, or WordPress settings and would appreciate the help.

I have recently started using wordpress and was very happy to find your theme. I like it very much. However, I cannot figure out how to ensure that the images on the banner section are aligned. What I mean is that the banner is uneven because the featured images of different posts are of different sizes. So the banner looks haphazard.

The same problem with the homepage posts – the pictures on homepage accompanying the post are of radically different sizes.

Is there a way to standardize this? That whatever be the original size of the image chosen as the featured image for a post, the banner does not get altered nor does the featured images on the homepage posts gets altered.

Hello! Just wondering if there is a way in the posts to display the actual published date, rather than the “updated on” date? I can’t find anything in any of the theme settings. Some of the posts simply say “ON” followed by the publish date”, whereas other posts say “UPDATED ON” and then display a random date that I guess the post was edited? I would much rather simply display the actual publish date and not have the discrepancies. Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

Love this theme, it is simple, easy to use and perfectly suits the requirements of my site.
However, I have a few small concerns I need help with.
1) I would like to remove the featured images from individual posts.

2) Is there a way to uncrop the featured/thumbnail images on homepage. All the images are currently in landscape orientation and I’d like them to be in portrait orientation and not cropped.

Please note that I have no technical knowledge to temper with theme editor on my own ??

I have struggled for several days to find a theme that this problem doesn’t pop up for me. Today I installed Vilva and the same problem had followed me there. If I choose a page layout for no sidebar, the image on the page goes missing. Nothing I do seems to correct the problem. If I go off and pick another theme, it works the first time I choose the layout without sidebar and as soon as I activate the theme and go to take a look at my new site, the sidebar is gone and so are any images on the page. What’s happening? Is it possible I have a computer problem???

The images within the post are not centering. They are defaulting to the left.

I would like to remove the gravatar on the side of the posts.
