My website’s right sidebar has always been custom, but has randomly converted back to the standard “search” and “archives.” How do I regain my sidebar settings?

On the iPad 2 the pages/posts all show the footer image repeating vertically through the entire height. I took a screenshot but don’t see how to attach or upload it here.
