I’m not a professional so it took a lot of training time. The help document helped me a lot. The theme is just great!

After a lot of research, I chose Weaver Xtreme as I found it the only free WordPress theme to offer this set of options and customization. For several years now, I have been using only this theme on all my sites.
Great job!
And active technical support on their own forum.
I definitely recommend it.
Sincerely,
Farid Taziev.
_______________

How could be done by one person that has ever been done by big teams? So, my conclusion is that the author has hired (secretly!) some of the best WP coders-teams. The sole question remains about financing…

I’ve been using Weaver themes since the original. I’ve updated the majority of my sites to Weaver Xtreme Professional and couldn’t be happier. The flexibility you have is virtually unlimited and if you need guidance on how to do something that’s just a little different (custom css for example) you get the help you need when you need it. I’m not into the drag and drop world of web design because each client is different and this theme give me what I need to make my clients happy campers…
Saw some complaints with support, have to say, if you take the time to learn how to use the support forum and do some basic research you’ll be able to find answers to any of your questions. The documentation is spot on…

After getting accustomed to where certain customization options appear (Typography does not include the theme’s base fonts, Header Layout option is only for the Header Widget, and some other counter-intuitive placements), this theme has pretty much everything I needed to make my site work right out of the box.
However, the Editor is not sized properly and overlays portions of the dashboard, which I find maddening. Every time I go to update my post I have a pretty good chance of hitting the Logout menu. Some of the customization settings for other block plugins do not work well because the UI assumes my mouse pointer is outside the Editor area.
If this were fixed, I’d be inclined to move my rating to a 5.

The interface is not very easy, but after a lot of trial and error I do get the website as I want. I appreciate that everything can be customized.

I have been using Weaver, Weaver-II and Weaver Xtreme since 5-6 years now. Several hundreds (thousands?) of settings will allow you to achieve anything you want. In case of rare problems I always found a really fast and excellent support. Thank you very much!

The best motif I found on global markets. First of all, the best for those who know about web design. One can conjure up hundreds of others from one of them

I use Weaver II Pro for 6 years now and are gradually converting to Weaver Xtreme and where I need the additional features I have bought a couple of Plus licences.
More than six years ago I started to investigate which theme .
I came across Weaver II with a lot of possibilities to design websites but for me the decisive factor to go with Weaver II and successor is the PAGE WITH POST possibilities.
You can create very flexible different blog pages from different categories with full pages , excerpts , columns, masonry and so on.
I use this theme with various page builders like WP Bakery Page Builder, SiteOrigin Page Builder and with Elementor.
Support is excellent via weaver support forums with a lot of documentation and tutorials I have not seen anywhere else.

ANOTHER UPDATE: Rarely have I seen a vendor dredge up so many shills to counter a negative review. DO NOT USE THIS THEME. When you leave negative feedback they will come out of the woodwork to shout you down.
If I could give this theme negative stars I would. They are now arguing with this review and blaming me for my problems. THIS THEME IS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE. If the best support they can offer is to tell you that THEIR forums are better than THIS forum then THAT’S A RED FLAG. When they say it’s not their fault if other themes successfully preserve data across upgrades and HTTP-to-HTTPS migrations THAT’S A RED FLAG.
These guys are sloppy and unprofessional. PERIOD.
Every time you have a problem with Weaver Xtreme you are told in the WordPress-dot-Org forum that they don’t monitor that forum very regularly and you should report bugs in THEIR forum. But creating an account on the Weaver forum is not so easy.
I just don’t think this theme should be used by anyone until the lack of reliable support is addressed. Yes, we’re talking about a theme you can use for free, but there is the upsell. There are more stable themes out there.
We originally started with Weaver, then had to upgrade to Weaver II, then had to upgrade to Weaver Xtreme. Every time we lost settings, found it impossible to work with older graphics, and had to learn a whole new user interface. We manage too many Websites to keep up with Weaver’s erratic behavior AND wait around for fixes for their bugs. I would give the theme ZERO stars if I could.
Once you know how it works it’s pretty easy to set up a nice-looking site but you don’t know when something will break and then you’re stuck. Thanks, but no thanks.

This is the most powerful free theme I ever stumbled upon! Contrary to almost every other theme I ever tested, it provides endless possibilites to adjust your website to your wishes and needs.
One can adjust almost everything, colors, background, menus, widgets, there’s nothing you cannot do with this theme. I’m using it with the themify builder lite plugin, together they almost have “magical” powers! ??
Thank you so much for this great and free theme!

I love Weaver Xtreme! Incredibly Flexible with tremendous support in the forum and also in the Weaver Guide. I also highly recommend you buy Weaver Plus plugin.
]]>Rating: 5 stars
This is the most truly flexible theme I’ve encountered in at least 5 years of WordPress design. It’s got everything you could possibly want for free, and the paid extension just puts icing on the cake and sauce for the goose! Great support forum, too.
Specifics: multiple formats for pages, the ability to customize the header in at least 5 different ways that I’ve found (possibly more), per-post customizations, CSS magic, sliders that are easy to work with.
Just go download it and start playing. I’m nearly sure that you will need to get rid of some plugins you’re using because Weaver already has them built in.

I loved Weaver II Pro and I’m blown away by Xtreme. Don’t believe the fakers who say they have a free customizable theme. Weaver is the most versatile, and the interface is easy to use. No coding is required at all. It’s also the only theme that doesn’t screw up your pages when you switch to “text” editor and back. I’ve never experienced a glitch when creating pages. If you need even more functions or you want to support a great cause, get PRO. I’ll be getting it soon. Read the guide on the Weaver Xtreme website.

If you are good at HTML understand CSS and just plain good at coding. Then this may not be for you. I cannot do any of that so I’m not sure if it would make a difference.
If you cannot do any of that or are limited in what you can do then this is a awesome theme. I also purchased the Xtreme Plus plug-in as it does add things I wanted to do maybe. But if I do not then that is ok also as I do not have an issue with supporting a good product.
Why do I like it so much. It is not as easy to use as they would like you to believe just because it allows you to do so much. The basic are easy where as some of the other things I have trouble with. But I have developed a Parallax page different backgrounds for different pages. All of this I would not have been able to do.
Support is good it most likely would be considered great if I knew more about WordPress but from my lowly knowledge level simple things become complex. I’m still able to do some interesting things.
I think people that do not like this program either are good at WordPress or get confused about all of the CSS changes that you can make just by checking boxes and making other selections. Give it a try I think most will like it. If you are really bad at coding also try Thrive Content Builder. That is worth the money also.

First off, I’ve been using Weaver since before Weaver II and Xtreme and always found this theme to be what I need, want, desire and NO more (not too many frills that are not needed!).
For the non-techie, you’ve got what you need to accomplish a LOT, without getting bogged down in too much extra coding / modifying. There is a lot here to work with, right out of the box.
If you do not find what you need here, there are a ton of helpful forum posts and users out there who can and will assist with accomplishing what you need or want if it is not evident.
The one thing that I will add (and this is not just Weaver) is that one of the very FIRST things that I do is to REMOVE the ridiculously contrived, BS, slow, stoopid WP “Customizer”.
This was / is some WP developers Dream Child that on the surface may seem like a great idea for the noob / Dummy, but in reality, for MOST themes, is simply an added layer of complexity!
Might be nice if Bruce (or WP for goodness sake!) would create a switch / check box to turn this travesty OFF for those of us who find it obtrusive and dumbing down for most purposes.
So, then, my very first plug-in is the mighty fine Customizer Remove All Parts plug-in (and then right after that, WP All-in-One Security to alter the blog / site default log-in page AND change another ridiculous convention, the default admin user name, which IMMEDIATELY shows up for ALL of the world to see on the sample blog post the moment you install WP! WTF… ).

Love & big ups to Bruce for this awesome theme and all the work that he has and is doing on Weaver Xtreme! Thanks . . .

Weaver Extreme is an excellent customizing theme, in my opinion. Also, the support is exceptional. I have used Extreme and earlier versions of Weaver themes for years now. I’ve used both the free and pro or plus versions. All are good.
While I try out and use other customizable themes, I keep coming back to Weaver. I especially like that the Weaver team keeps up with technical changes in WordPress and web browsers. Support normally answers my questions quickly and effectively. When I have found technical glitches in the Weaver theme and report them, the development group led by Bruce Wampler quickly address the problem.
So, all in all, I highly recommend this theme. I am someone who rarely writes reviews. Last week I changed from a paid for only (premium), well known theme, to Weaver because the paid-only theme had not kept up with the change to php 7. No such problems with Weaver Xtreme.

I am impressed with the community of support that is involved in this theme,
there are so many little tweeks that can be made and the community forum helps guide the user through,
however, it must be noted *** this is not a theme for a novice blogger ***

I built all (two) WordPress sites using Weaver II and loved its versatility (and am about to switch over another three). Held off switching to Weaver Xtreme for too long. It’s even more awesome than its predecessor! I’ve mostly retired, so one criterion was having a site that a reasonably computer savvy person could take over without needing to understand code. This provides lots of choices and immediate feedback on what they do. The Customizer is good for most, but I still prefer going through your various pages because they include a few more tweaks. BTW I just mentored another person in setting up her first website using Weaver Xtreme. She’s delighted with its possibilities.

Is’t not to hard to get around, and there is great support.
What ever I can think of, I can do with Weaver Xtreme.

I have struggled with WP on some areas, until I found Weaver II. This is super easy to use, make changes, and add widgets…very happy with it!

I an unable to edit my pages (Blank) when I activate WP Edit Pro plugin. I am using Weaver Xtreme with Weaver Xtreme Plus Plugin.
Using WP Edit is fine, but when I uninstall WP Edit (Empty Page Cache) and install WP Pro my edit page goes blank. It appears that Weaver Xtreme doesn’t recognise WP Edit Pro as a recommendation to activate WP Edit appears.
Possible this problem will be sorted with future updates, but does body, other than me, have this problem?
Thanks,
Poetic1.

I don’t usually do reviews good or bad, but this theme is worth the time to post a good review
I loved weaver xtreme from the first time I used it, Soooo many options for solving common issues without coding, but recently i decided to tackle the uneven height problem with sidebars and content area. After searching for 2 days and trying several plugins and other css, java scripts etc. I paid for the xtreme plus upgrade and one checkbox later both sidebars and content area are the same height. No matter which is larger and on any page and even after scripts load and change the widget area size! That was only 1 of over 100 extra options you get for the small upgrade price.
I loved Weaver Xtreme free version, but with the extra options available with plus I don’t think I will never use another theme.

I have been using the Weaver products for 4 years now. I have purchased the license to install the pro versions on my customers sites and have developed dozens of sites using Weaver.
This product is not worth installing the free version, let alone purchasing the premium version. Stay away from it until and unless you see a lot of good reviews newer than this one.
Bruce Wampler really missed the target with Weaver Xtreme. From the initial install, the primary widget area does not respond properly and dissects the content in to two misaligned contents and/or displays oddly when the page is re sized. You cannot easily navigate the options, and generally, the theme simply does not work well.
Keep using the old versions of Weaver, or check out some of the other options, but before you buy the paid version, try the free one and display it on various screens. If it acts odd there, just think of the problems your site visitors are going to have.
Three thumbs down on this version.
UPDATE: I spent more time checking out this theme since Bruce has abandoned his previous well respected theme to just see if I was missing something. I am more confused than ever after seeing some 5 star reviews here. When I enable any full-width sub theme, the primary widget display corrupts, sometimes just breaking up, sometimes throwing the content into the page area. If you try to edit the widgets through the customizer, the items do not display unless you add another widget, then delete or modify the existing ones, then save, then go back and delete the one you add, then go back and delete the one you added again.
This kind of behavior should be a real red flag to any developer. I have always respected the input from Scrambler, but really can’t see how something this buggy was ever allowed to hit the WordPress download section.

Great support through the forums. Many customization options including custom colors, three menu locations, over 20 widget areas, and several html “insertion areas.” And as if the theme itself isn’t customizable enough, it successfully integrates with PageBuilder and most other plugins.
Or if you just want to get and running as fast as possible, there are several ready-to-use sub-themes with pre-selected color schemes and feature sets. Xtreme version 1.0.1 contains 11 sub-themes; the upcoming (available already from Weaver directly) release contains over 30.
The built in Weaver Xstreme Save/Restore options are an incredible aid, and I’m at a loss to understand why these critical functions aren’t part of WordPress itself.
Another lifesaving feature, the ability to add custom html and CSS code without going through the complicated, manual, and unsupported process of creating WordPress “child themes.”
If there was one criticism, there are so many customization options that it can be overwhelming at first. Of course one could avoid that entirely by choosing a pre-configured Sub Theme.

Was using Weaver II, and watched the Xtreme beta as it progressed. Glad I waited for 1.0.1. Totally love it and switched all my sites to Xtreme.
Going to purchaser Xtreme Pro just to support the development team.

At first I wasn’t thrilled by the sub-themes that come with Weaver Xtreme so I went with Weaver II. Then the converter plug in came out, and I was able move the website I was developing over very easily with almost no loss of the visual look of the site (two settings needed changing manually.) Once I did that, and started using the options in Xtreme, I really appreciated how well the theme is set up. You can tweak everything, without getting one of those bogged down sites like you do with drag and drop themes.
There is a learning curve at first, which could make the theme seem overwhelming. Then I started to understand the organization of the options and everything made sense. Its really easy to change your options for specific mobile viewing as well. The theme’s support for pages, and pages with posts etc is exceptional.
The support forum is also really responsive. I am so happy to have a theme that isn’t you get what you get unless you are a CSS expert.

We’ve used Weaver II for years, and Weaver Xtreme does not disappoint. With logical and nearly infinite theme options, and improved responsive layout, we have ultimate control of every aspect of the site. Well done!

This extreme thing sucks. Nothing is working, my text is stuck to the right side of the page, I have no control over an image that got stuck on my background, and I cannot edit my front page, the same old simple templates do not change for hours after I switch to a new one so even what I am working on I never know what it looks like.
Why change something that worked so good. I cannot even get into their website to try to get a refund???
I have over 27 sites with Weaver Pro and now a 28th which has this Weaver Xtreme and after the last 13 hours of messing with it I’m done, Waist of money and now loosing money due to the time it takes to start over.
What is better about this??
