This theme has beautiful color combinations to help those of use who are not great designers. It is perfect for blogging or using full-site editing features to customize. Many thanks to Rich Tabor for sharing his work!

I only had a few minutes last night, but I tested Wei on my site briefly. The simplicity of the design doesn’t take away from the content, and because it’s not an eCommerce/business site – like so many other templates – visual effects that draw the eye to a conversion CTA are (refreshingly) not at all prioritized here. The highlight for me aren’t even the global styles (which are beautiful — and the core blocks look great) but the clever use of the featured image in posts and pages.
It’s hard to review FSE templates that are even close to be a 100/100 because it’s so easy to “fix” what you need to customize. Changed this myself in a few seconds — but I couldn’t help but feel the default content widths were too small on desktop.
Rich Tabor nailed this design for writers. While good, I ultimately decided to switch back to Wabi.
