I’m guessing this theme isn’t supported anymore (mainly due to lack of replies on this forum, but also because the creator’s website seems to be down). But here it goes.

I’ve been using Whimsy for over a year now and have heavily customised it to my needs by using a child theme (I chose it due to it’s simple interface making it easy for me to integrate my own design). I pretty much had it all working so hadn’t touched it for sometime. But now I need to change my header, but when I go to do so, I can make the changes but the ‘Publish’ button is missing.

I’ve tried the usual troubleshooting of deactivating all plugins. Have enabled the default WordPress themes (they work fine, the button is there), uninstalling and reinstalling the theme, etc. But still the button is missing.

As a last ditch attempt, I installed a brand new installation of WordPress and installed Whimsy Framework on it (the only installed theme aside from the defaults that come with a fresh install). And lo-and-behold, the Publish button is STILL missing. So it seems like it’s an issue with the theme and perhaps the newer versions of WordPress (currently I’m running 4.9.7).

Hope this can be fixed, but feeling it might be just hope at this stage.

my website is saveit4theblog.com I just downloaded the theme update for this and it now doesn’t show the blog posts on the blog page in snippet view. WordPress and theme in latest versions. how doI fix?

I just wanted to start by saying I LOVE this template. It is easy to work with and it makes customizing easy!

The one thing that I am having trouble with is removing the date/time stamp, as well as the little comment icon. My website won’t really be for blogging, but more of a portfolio type of site (there may be one blog page eventually). I have gone through the code and I can’t figure out how to delete the date & time stamp. I want my pages to be static without the ability to comment.

Is there any way you can help me? It would be greatly appreciated! I only have one page on my site right now. https://fellidp.com

Thanks for your great template at first. After changing theme as yours, i got 3 bugs – 1 on home page, 2 on post page.

On home page bug message:
