Child theme for production site?

Hello, I am new to making websites, and not versed with coding. I am keen to build an WooCommerce site for selling our products (mineral specimens) using a block theme, and thought Wowmall sounded like a good starting point. You do not recommend Wowmall to be used for production sites, though, so I was wondering whether creating a child theme from Wowmall, and using that for my website, would be a good workaround? Will that allow updates to be installed without loosing any of my customizations? Or should I try a different theme? Thanks a lot in advance for your advise!

Do I need Gutenberg plugin as I use WP 6.0

Hi, I am running WP 6.0 and am testing WOWMALL. When I activate it it asks for Gutenberg plugin.
Is this useful or redundant ?

How to change site logo

I’m struggling to change the site logo, it doesn’t look like site logo is one of the features of the theme. And when I add a site logo block in place of the existing one, there doesn’t seem to be a way to add a new image/logo, let alone replace the current one.

Any help appreciated.
