I hope you can help me. After years of great service, the slider on my front page has suddenly stopped working. It’s the Creativix theme slider. Now the slider’s images are shown piled on top of each other. I’ve contacted Hostgator who sent me here. The PHP is all up to date. I have no technical background, I’m afraid, I wondered if there is a theme update I don’t know about or something else. Any help, gratefully received. Thank you.

I am using woo commerce with creativix theme and it seems to be working well except for the shop page. The background of the shop doesn’t show (only on the shop page) and the sidebar won’t disappear when I remove it in admin. The sidebar still shows and has moved to the bottom of the page. Can someone please help me? Is there a fix I can do? Hopefully something simple. LOL

I know this might be a dumb question but how do I remove a specific post from the slider?

Iam using Creativex for my website.
On my blogpage i can click on the post titels so i can read the posts. But its not very clear that only the post titel is clickable.
So how can i also make the featured images and the sample text clickable.

Just wondering if I can get uber menu running with your theme. I’m running wpec on your theme and so far everything running smooth but due to the size of our store I need uber menu. Is there a cost to getting this going or should I refer back to the uber menu people? or get another theme.

This template shows an abstract of every portfolio product after an image (not bigger than 250px wide). Where should I insert that abstract?

Since I upgraded to 3.8.1 it does not allows me to change the featured posts under the slide show.

Hi, complete novice here in need of advice. I chose this theme because I really like the slider (and small boxes underneath) but can anyone advise me how I limit the content of the slider and boxes to just my portfolio posts?
Despite having deliberately not checked the ‘show in slider’ box, all of my pages are showing in the slider.
What am I doing wrong?

I am using Creativix and really like the theme. I am having an issue when I search for my website (on Google for example). I find my website name, but not the tagline associated with it. That’s a problem because my tag line tells people what the website is about. My tagline is inserted in the theme under appearance – customize.

I would like the search to bring about results like this:
LDB Advocacy | content driven marketing

Any ideas on how to do this?

I want to create a multipage post. I’ve tried ‘<!–nextpage–>’ and ‘<?php wp_link_pages(); ?>’ as described here https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Styling_Page-Links. So far it hasn’t worked.

Just to be clear I’ve only looked at this as preview. I haven’t published the post to test this. I’ve inserted the tags in text mode.

I’m on version 2.4 of the WP-Creativix theme because we made some changes to the original theme that would be lost in an upgrade.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the number of portfolio items displayed per page.

The default is set to 9 (Appearance > WP-Creativix Options > Portfolio Settings > Items Per Page).

I changed it to 20 in the above location, but nothing. It still only displays 9 items per page.

Any idea how to fix this?

I got a note from Hostmonster today saying there was a problem with WP-Creativix theme involving a timthumb.php file.

I’m not sure if this is on purpose to exploit users, or if they just need to update (see more info below)

We have found and corrected exploitable timthumb.php file(s) on your account…The timthumb.php file is a script commonly used in WordPress’s (and other software’s) themes and plugins to resize images. The exploit allows an attacker to arbitrarily upload and create files and/or folders on your account, which can then be used for a number of malicious tasks, including but not limited to defacement, browser high-jacking and infection, data harvesting and more. After a site has been exploited, it may lead to becoming labeled a “Malicious Website” by Google or other security authorities.
