After update to WordPress 6.2.2 the side is stopped while “wp-store-preloader” when using WP Store 1.2.0.

The problems with version 1.1.5. disappeared (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wordpress-page-show-loading-after-update/).

I found that it is better to email 8Themes directly for quick support, as this forum does not appear to be monitored by them very well.

After September 20 WP Store Free update to version 1.1.6 I get a white death home page.
Everything was working fine with version 1.1.5 of this theme.
I already tried to disable all the plugins but the problem remains.
WP, plugins, translations and themes are all updated at the newest available version.
I tried with another theme and the site has no problem…but clearly the homepage is not the same I had with WP Store theme.
Is anybody having the same problem with WP Store Free 1.1.6?
Any suggestion to solve this issue?

I am using the free version of WP Store theme for my Woocommerce store. But after I updated some plugins (including SmartSlider 3) and WordPress, the slider simply stopped displaying itself.

On inspection I could find the following JavaScript errors:

The first error is:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'msie' of undefined
and it points to the following theme file:
/wp-content/themes/wp-store/js/jquery.fancybox-1.3.4.js

The second error is:

Uncaught TypeError: $(...).fancybox is not a function
and it points to this theme file:
/wp-content/themes/wp-store/js/custom.js

Here are some details of my website…

Wordpress – Version 5.5.1
PHP – Version 7.3.22
SmartSlider3 – Version 3.4.1.9
Theme – WP Store Version 1.1.5

My site won’t load without using a plugin called jQuery Migrate Helper.
This plugin allows home page to load, but reports the following error:
jQuery Migrate Helper — Warnings encountered
This page generated the following warnings:

Please make sure you are using the latest version of all of your plugins, and your theme. If you are, you may want to ask the developers of the code mentioned in the warnings for an update.

Is there a theme update to be released soon to correct the welcome.js issue, or can you advise what I can do to fix it, please?

We have Smart Coupons added to the shop where a customer can add the amount they’d like to make the Gift Certificate for. But while the PRODUCT is getting passed through, the amount – say $50 – isn’t getting passed through to the card. So the cart has a gift certificate in the amount of $0 in it.

This had been working but with a recent WP Store update it isn’t anymore. I reached out to the Smart Coupon team and the found this js error:

When I downloaded and installed the WP Store theme, everything worked fine. But as soon as I customized a couple of basic information, I can not open the website anymore. All I see is the loading page.

I am having an issue with this theme. When I use woocommerce with this theme than some of the pages not loading and keeps spinning. I’m using the latest version of wp-store theme, latest version of woocommerce and latest version of wordpress as well.

I tried to de-activate all the plugin to check the issue and finally I found that when I deactivate the woocommerce plugin only than all the pages loading fine but when I activate it again than some pages not loading. Even if I only activate the woocommerce plugin than some of the pages not loading.

I tried to switch the theme to default theme as well and with the default theme there is no issue in loading with all the plugins.

So I found that this theme is causing some issue to restrict some script to load few pages on the website.

Let me know if you have any solution regarding this issue……………..

1. Slider automoving does not work because of setting where you wrote “autoPlay” instead of right “autoplay” (line 320 of file “wp-store-functions.php”).
2. Type of slider transition always be set on “fadeOut”. You should write “&&” instead of “||” (line 307 of “wp-store-functions.php”).

WP-Store’ pot-file has strings “%s Item” and “%s Items”. File “header.php” has these words too, it works fine, but file “wp-store-functions.php” (wp_store_woocommerce_header_add_to_cart_fragment function) contains “%1$s Item” and “%1$s Items” (they also show basket content as header.php’s strings). They cannot be translated because of their absence in pot-file.

Hi there, I’m configuring our new store site, but cannot access the extensions. The page opens with ‘The link you followed has expired.’ I understand this could be WP file size limits so we are trying to fix that.

In the meantime, as we are running PHP 7.2 on a multisite so is that a problem?

Is there any other way for me to install the extensions (most importantly the slider) using ftp?

The styling issue here is a result of the active theme. Some of the product titles are longer than others which causes the misalignment of the buttons. You could contact the theme author to see if they can provide a solution to possibly limit the amount of text, or set a static hight for the product titles on the shop page.

Please understand that your theme needs one improvement which will enhance the beauty of the web page. Also, I want to appreciate your effort towards development and updating.

Under the widget sections like featured/up sell/related product there is the option to display more than 4 products by woo-commerce but when we opt for more than 4 products it goes downside instead of remaining in a single row. Exactly, I mean is that the 5th product should appear once we scroll right, just like in slide.

Also, the related products on product page has very large thumbnail which is only accommodating 3 products.

Dear Support Team,

Please understand that I have placed the product filter on my website but it has some alignment problem. Here below are the problems.

1. Webpage template (sidebar) is conflicting with product filter. The filter is taking too much space as sidebar. When I am trying to reduce the width of sidebar, the filter is going down. It is only working when the sidebar width is default.

2. The filter is going down in mobile view, so please help me to place upside because I understand due to short space it cannot align in sidebar.Or if it can not be aligned upside help me to hide in mobile view. Also I dont want the sidebar space to appear in mobile view as it is making webpage clumsy.

Please understand that I am developing my site on your theme and everything going smoothly except the one problem which is the Mobile Navigation Menu. If you open the Shop menu on mobile/tab you will find that menus and sub-menus are expanded which should be hidden/collapse under its parent categories and should be open only when clicked on it.

I believe that there is small revision is required and could be done with help of CSS.

Please help me to fix this issue at earliest.

The theme looks absolutely promising and I love the many configuration options. However, I am trying to figure out how they all work.

First off: I could not get the slider working through Homepage Sections, until I figured out I had to ALSO activate it in Innerpage Settings. A bit confusing, but ok…

But I still can’t get all the other Homepage Sections working. I activated Promotion Block Section, Widget Area 1 Section and Product Section, but nothing changes on the homepage…

In the homepage slider, when the post text transforms/animates over the featured image, there can be a conflict of text color over the image coloring. The conflict is dependent on where the text lands over the image. An image is ideal where there is a lot of room to the left, in an open area of a bright color, where dark text can appear anywhere in that area and still look good.

I’m trying to reduce the requirement to match images so carefully to this specific purpose. So in the post, right now I’m adding a div tag to set a light background with medium transparancy – so dark text will be readable against an always-lighter background, but the transparency allows some of the background image to show through.

While “functional”, that’s not an ideal solution. Even with the post text in a block, the post title now needs to be similarly styled, requiring changes to the theme CSS. Also, for some reason with a div>style>background, the slider-content div positions this post text at the left side of the content space, while without a background it postions it correctly under the title. I’ve tried to change the position, float, and other style elements but I haven’t yet got it to reposition correctly.

Again, I’d just like to minimize this effort. Can anyone suggest a better way to match text and images so that when this specific slider/animation activates, that there is a better “fit” without heavy customization? Can we follow some general guideline that will work for a wide variety of images and this animiation/transform?

I understand that the recommended image size for a homepage slider is 1920×700. In full-size desktop mode this is great. But this doesn’t change in responsive mode where an image of about 300×200 is ideal. Is there a recommended way to change the image or its sizing based on the form-factor currently in use? I already have images copied and resized for this purpose. But I need code or the theme to change the image by name or with CSS.
