I have created a child theme of WP Spirit 01 using the Childify Me plugin. I am trying to create a background. I go to customize, general, but there is no option there for background image (which is where the manual says it is). Is this because I am using the child theme?
Also, I cannot find anywhere the size of the header in px so I can upload my own image.

]]>Hi. Lovely theme. Just having a problem with customising. What I see when I edit is not what I see on the live site. In the editing I have different colours of font (as in the demo) and I have not altered these because I like them. But when I go to look at the site live the text is all one grey colour. This is disappointing and I am not sure what to do about it, so I would be grateful for any help. Thanks in advance.

however, i have been struggling with building this site since Monday. the manual is very confusing if you are not highly familiar with everything. i REALLY like this theme but it’s very frustrating trying to get it to look like the demo.
the demo has the image thumbnail for the blog post above the blurb with the blurb below it. all the images are exactly the same size across the page (3 column setup). for the life of me i can’t figure out how to do get my images the same size and above the blurb instead of below it. please help

]]>I have had some of the issues already stated (slider, responsive, etc.) and have been able to resolve all those issues. The issue I am still having is that the logo/site title and the slogan below the slider are miniscule. I’ve changed the size in the customizer for both and no matter what I set the size to they remain the same size.

I am having an issue with the blog posts, however. I have them being posted on the home page of the site and I’m getting no excerpts, despite setting the excerpt slider to maximum in the customization options.
I’d like, at the very least, an excerpt if not the full text of the most recent blog with the excerpts others beneath it.

]]>I just published my blog using this theme and I have two issues. The first issue is that I have checked off to enable responsive design, but it is not working. When I navigate to my site on mobile I have to awkwardly scroll to the right to see everything. Is there a fix for this?

Question 1.
When I post an image within a blog post, it does not appear on the general collection of posts page unless I add it as a featured image – then it appears twice. Is there an adjustment or setting I need to change so my images appear correctly?
Question Two.
There is an adjustable sliding button in the ‘Customise’ section that allows us to add a preview of blog text. I have the slider but it will not work. Is there anything else I need to adjust elsewhere in WordPress? At the moment My blog shows Posts and an image for each post and no text.
I would appreciate your help as I am enjoying the theme otherwise.

I seem to be having some issues creating a child theme, I keep getting ‘The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.’
