I am using the Writers theme (optimized for seo) and my url is https://www.tomhousden.co.uk. I have written something for the page ‘Bat Out Of Hell The Musical’ but when I hover over the menu heading, it only displays the sub-page. How do I display the page that I wrote?
The blog I need help with is: tomhousden.co.uk
]]>Hello
How can I set no margins / smaller margings on Single Post mobile view?
The content shown on mobile view seems too norrow to read.
Thank you,
Paulina
]]>While on mobile, my blogs homepage has a pretty big gap between the menu and the posts. This is unintentional. Also, the logo is shifted toward the middle and downwards making the menu itself to large. I want it to look like it does on the desktop, albeit smaller and with the 3 lines to open navigation. Link
I’ve tried everything and looked over a bunch of other posts with a similar issue but none seem to have the exact same one and none of the solutions worked. How can I fix this?
]]>Hello!
I like adding the “read more” tag to my posts, but with this Writers theme it is not showing. Yes, the text appears trimmed where I put the “read more” tag, but no “Continue reading” link is shown, there is nothing to click, in order to read the whole post.
]]>I purchased the premium version of Writers Theme which is described as being responsive. When I navigate to the website via my mobile device, I am served a different version of the site and have to choose the full responsive site by clicking a link at the bottom of the page. I do not want this experience for visitors to my site. How can I ensure users see the responsive version of the site with its customized layout and colors rather than a non-responsive version of the site?
Thank you.
]]>I am using a child theme of the Writers theme and unchecking the “Display Site title and tagline” box does not hide the site title.
I tried it on the original theme as well and it also does not work there.

]]>After updating the theme (which was probably a mistake but one that I’ve not been able to roll back) all the highlight features have reverted back to a blue-green color instead of my customized red/maroon. I can’t seem to find the option to change it back, at least not in customize (where I changed it before).
]]>I’m new to this whole website-building thing. So I downloaded this Writers theme because I like the simplicity of the layout, however all the tutorials I’m finding about customizing themes on Youtube are all on Twentyeleven or Twentytwelve themes.
So I want to move the navigation bar from the top right corner of the page to be located below the header image.
Also – why is the website’s name obnoxiously posted on the top left corner of the page, if I already have it written in the center text of my header?
thx
]]>I am unable to make any page Full width.
I only want the sidebar to appear on Posts and not on Pages
How can I do it?
Hi,
There seems to be problem with the recommended size of the header image. It was recommended to upload an image with 1800 X 848 px, but when I uploaded an image header with exactly that size, the cropping interface fits nicely, but once uploaded, the image height exceeded the designated area.
It seems 1800 X 580 px is more fitting?
Another question on the header, is there no option to upload headed background (image) then logo artwork as the header title. Meaning if reader clicks on the logo, they’ll be routed back to homepage.
Thanks.
