I downloaded the York Lite theme and tried to change the front page. I’ve installed the Portfolio plugin but seem not be able to publish anything on the front page except for the head title.

Hi!
I love the theme!
I’m wordering if is possible to hide the title on the home page for the Lite theme. ?How can I do that?
And I’m not sure.. but I understood that the york animated entry is only for the Pro version, right?

On a fresh install with WP_DEBUG on there are PHP notices in the sidebar if the primary menu isn’t set.

Duplicates on new pages

Just wondering why every new page I start, I get duplicates of my content… It didn’t do this before, only with the contact page. Now it does this with every new page I make. I was using a different contact form plug in that did the same thing, and switched over to Contact Form 7 to see if the plug in was the problem… which it wasn’t. So, either it is something else causing the problem, or it is the theme. Anybody else have any ideas?

Portolio Limit?

Is there a limit for the number of portfolio items that will show up on the front page? I have 16 portfolio entries but only 10 are showing up on page. Is there someway to adjust the css or framework to allow for additional entries?

I have decided to come back to this theme after a few months…

I can see some changes.
I have downloaded version York lite 1.1.1 and after, suggested, plugin installation (“Portfolio Post Type”) my home page changed to empty with page title and footer only.
Have I done anything wrong with configuration?

Also it seems to be few free versions of the York theme. Which one is most up to date? Where is the best place to obtain the most up to date version?

Hi,

great theme btw.

Is there any option to remove a links from the post titles on the front page. There is no need to have them and they are causing confusion.

You can see all the content on the front page so no need to click on it (if you don’t use comments).
