Tried to create a Yume child theme – just like the dozens of others I have created in the past – and I get the following error: The parent theme is missing. Please install the “Yume” parent theme.
So, what am I missing?
]]>I like this theme but I installed Birchwood appointments and it will not work properly. The setup for the appointments calendar has “locations”services” etc. which should show up on “Add Locations” etc. as a list of fields – using your theme, the fields are no longer visible in the setup – just a title field – Strangely other plugins appear below these settings sections such as Authorsure and Yoast –
the settings for the calendar are like categories/posts so I think your theme is confused as to what they are for. or how to display the fields in them.
I recently uploaded your Yume theme, which I love, but I noticed categories and tags do not sort, and even the search yields no results. The pages just show everything, though everything is divided into categories.
Is this a 3.8 bug problem? I just started using WP, so 3.8 was my first install.
I have tried default permalinks and custom. These work when I switch the theme out, but do not work when I re-install Yume. I have even re-installed the original files to no effect.
Can someone point me to a solution please? I like the theme and would hate to abandon it for what I know must be an easy fix.
Thanks in advance.
