I use zillah theme. I have a problem regarding with side bar.
Side bar appear only in homepage.Not appear in article pages.
Also side bar dose not appear in mobile devices.
How to fix this.
Please help me.

Yet, there are heaps of posts. Plus we clicked the link and created a new post. Which only lasted a short time then disappeared.

Plus Plus, there’s only 2 posts shown in the slider.

Something is wrong here in the linkages between Posts and the Home page.

Is there a way for me to make the width of my sidebar smaller than the default setting? I tried adding codes found online to the additional CSS page but haven’t been able to make it work. Please provide the correct codes for this if it’s available, thank you for your help.

I’m using the “Alternative Layout” for Zillah. When viewed from a computer, each row should have 3 articles, but in the 3rd row, the leftmost article is missing (there is a blank), and in the 4th and 5th rows there are only one article on display on the left, while the middle and right blocks are blank. How may I fix this?

The Featured Content Slider isn’t showing on my page. I have done as instructed:

– I created a category called “features” and included 4 blog posts
– all 4 blog posts have titles and photos
– Checked the checkbox in Appearance>Customize>Theme Options to “Use first image post as the featured image”
– Checked in Appearance>Customize>FeaturedContentSlider to show slider and set to “Features” category.

But the slider still isn’t showing up, may I have some help? Thank you.

I am looking to reduce the block size where the page title sits.
For example if you have a page named Welcome, when you view the page, under the header, but before you reach the main content section.

This is where the slider would go if activated, but when it is not the space appears unnaturally large.

I am testing this theme to put on my site. I did a few test posts to see how they would look and they’re great, but… I can’t seem to get any posts to show up on the home page. Even if I set the blog page and home page separate, it still gives me this same error.

Just a note to warn people to not buy anything from Themisle. They provide you with nothing and then never support you. WordPress needs to remove them from all of their lists! There is no one that will help you with them. I had to call my credit card company to get a refund.

Okay, I was really hoping to announce my site to everyone tomorrow, but I have two issues I need help with.
1. On my phone, when the site comes up, the menu bar is visible, but when you touch it nothing happens.
2. The slider looks great on a pc, but does not work on tablet or mobile phone.

I made a logo using graphic springs, and used it in my header. However, I would like it to be bigger. I can’t see anyway to adjust the size at all. Is there anyway to enlarge the logo? I have tried resizing in photoshop, but it just always imports the same size.
I would like it to take up a good deal of the header space. So it looks similar to this site’s logo: motherhenfive.com

Also, I have a question about the content slider. Do your posts need to be published in order for new categories to show up in the content slider customization. I set everything up properly. I created new categories for the posts I want on the slider and set the image, but when I try to set the slider to the right category, my new categories do not appear. The only option is uncategorized. I was hoping to see how it all looked before I published posts.

great theme! But I just realized that the footer area disappears on smaller screens (e.g. mobile). This is also true for your official demo of the theme (https://themeisle.com/demo/?theme=Zillah).

Is this a known issue which will be fixed in the near future? Or is the theme simply not meant to be fully responsive?

Is there an easy way to fix this in a child theme? All I need in the footer are some links to static pages of my blog…

Wonderful theme, just what I was looking for (and I looked at a zillion themes) but there’s one problem I can’t solve (customized other elements like excess space between site-header and content etc): the header-inner-top class will simply not remain sticky!

In desperation I tried practically every other class in that section, but nothing.
Could someone please help?! Thanks in advance ??

Hello, I have the Zillah theme and have some questions.

1 – How can I remove the date from above my posts on my home page?
I’ve tried finding ‘zillah_posted_date()’ in my content.php folder but it is not there.

2 – I’ve used SiteOrigin editor to edit posts, but now when I put the title in the SiteOirigin editor the titles are appearing in the blurb for the post on my homepage. I do not want the title to appear here, I only want it on the actual page of my blog post. How can I keep the title on my blog post page but remove it from the blurb on my homepage? How do i not show any details(title/category/text) of the post on the home page?

How do i increase the width of the picture that can be seen on the home page? I would like it to suit landscape pictures.

What is the optimal size for pictures shown on the home page? My past post pictures seem to be quite blur.

I’ve read that the ability to add a byline on posts in WordPress is theme-specific. It appears that Zillah does not support this feature. Is there any way that I can automatically add bylines to every post with my name as the author — either via a plugin or by CSS code — even though Zillah doesn’t offer them? I am the only author on my site, so I’m not concerned about flexibility for multiple authors; I just want to show my name as the author of each article before the main text. (I am already using the Simple Author plugin, which adds author information at the END of each post, but I’d also like a simple byline to appear at the beginning, both on individual posts and on the homepage.)

Also, I am currently using the Under Construction plug-in, so I can’t give you a link to my site. But if you need me to upload screenshots, let me know.
