Widgets are not displayed in the basement of the site. The widgets are displayed in the visual settings, but they are not on the website. I looked at the markup code on the site, there are none in the code at all. The theme version is free, not pro. Can you tell me what the problem might be?

How would I go about 1) disabling responsiveness and setting a fixed page width, and 2) removing the transition to a menu hamburger button so it always displays the traditional menu style? I need my website to be a fixed width regardless of device / platform.

Please let me know which parts of the CSS I need to remove, comment out, or override with custom CSS.

Hi,

I bought a lifetime licence for Zita Pro a few years ago. I am now unable to log in to the members area to download the latest version of Zita Pro. My user name and password are not recognised.

If I try to start a new account it takes me to a Themehunk payment form, where it wants more money.

How do I download my updates?

When I try to work on a new post, all of my links are showing up as white. I’m not sure why this is happening. When I publish the post, it works fine and inherits my themes link colors (Zita theme). I can’t figure out for the life of me why the links in the editor are all white.

When I highlight the link text, a box pops up on the right hand side warning me that, “This color combination may be hard for people to read. Try using a brighter background color and/or a darker link color.”

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated…luckily I’m bald so I can’t pull my hair out, but my brain cells are slowly fading…

For a while now I have been encountering an issue that wordpress claims is causes by the Zita theme. Hopefully it isnt my fault!

The page-description div itself is present, but I can’t make it display the text, it just stays blank.

I’ve tried using FF Webdev Tools for live edit and looked at the Zita and WooCommerce files in Notepad++ but no joy.

I verified it isn’t a plugin conflict by creating a new staging site and installing only Zita and WooCommerce.

The page description does show in other themes, so this is definitely a Zita issue.

I would like to know the easiest or best way to change the default settings for Zita options when creating a new post. In my case, I would like:

1) The “Disable Feature Image” option to be checked by default, and
2) Not as important, but would be nice, to have the accordion box expanded by default so that I can see the options without needing to click the button.

Dear Zita,

I noticed the Freely theme woocommerce home page is loading the full size product images of 800x800px and these are being scaled to smaller size as selected in customizer. The thumbnails of lower size are actually generated and available in the file system but are not used.

This is causing poor page speed score. Is there a solution for this please?

I’m evaluating the Zita theme and found an issue when accessing the web site with a tablet or phone. It auto converts the menu (which is showing under the title in the center on a laptop) to a hamburger menu on these devices. It took me a while to figure out what was happening, but was able to change the hamburger colours so that the meny icon is showing. However, when you click the menu icon, a blank white page appears – no menu options are displaying.

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue and know how to correct it?

we are using the Zita theme for our wordpress site. Despite the latest version is installed (1.4.9) the google font-family Catamaran is outdated: german “Umlaute” (? (U+00E4), ü, ?) have only one dot above instead of two.

I could replace the *.ttf files myself, but i guess they could be overwritten by an update, so the best solution whould be to update the theme itself.

Where can I open a bug report for this?

I have the last item on the menu as a search icon. It works perfectly on a desktop, but when using it on a mobile phone, with the hamburger menu, as soon as you click on the search icon, the phone keyboard appears and then disappears very quickly, so you cannot type any text to perform a search.

It’s as though the phone’s keyboard loses focus.

It is theme specific, as I have tried switching back to the default WP theme and it works OK in that.

A problem has just come with volume product packs When selected the product volume packs. it will only select the smaller e.g purchaser select a 2kg pack but when going to the cart it will only be a 1kg purchase.Other product which are not volume items are not affected they could small items like a plastic holder weight 50gm and multi items of type of with various small weight will calculate the correct weight.

Is there a way to put the background image in the content/body area only? I’m using a fixed header and I need the background image to fill the body only, so that the top of the image won’t get chopped off (hidden) by the header.

I’ve tried pushing the image down below the header via css positioning, which works for desktop, but it doesn’t display properly responsively (mobile).

I’m not using a footer, per se, but I see in FireFox web developer that the class of my “body” area is referred to as the footer, so not sure what’s going on with that.

I have a page made with Shop Zita. Using two big squares of each 50%, and three smaller squared of 33% each on the homepage.

The bigger ones don’t go below each other on small screen but one behind the other..so one is not visible. I tried finding it in css and the settings but can not find it..

What can i do to fix this?

Why does the home page of https://www.pifgiftvouchers.org overflow the screen when using it on android. The other pages are ok. The home ‘about’ page arrow doesn’t show because you have to scroll horizontal to find it.

Hi, this is regarding all posts & pages of my website/blog. When composing the content of a post or page in draft mode, using either block or classic… it allows me to bold & italics on the draft & shows on the draft… but when I transfer it over to preview or publish… the bold & italicized words DO NOT appear there. I am really frustrated & want to remedy this immediately. Thank you!

Normally a page generate a link preview (say you wanna send it in messenger or post it on Facebook post) according to the content on the webpage, every web page works fine except the “homepage”. The page that has the homepage setting displays “my blog uncategorized hello world Author” in the link preview. If I remove the “homepage” setting on the page the page works and generate the link preview fine again, however, I do want the homepage setting to work. What can I do to fix this?

I had problems displaying the main menu with all of header vertical layout. Menu do not appear, or appears and then disappears.

When I use Settings to ask my site (using a Zita child theme) to limit comments to five top-level comments per page, that works, but there is no visible way to navigate to subsequent pages. What should I be seeing?

As far as I can tell, my child theme made no modifications to the parent theme related to comments. I do not have a comments.php in my child theme.

Hi, I have installed a contact form in which a person who would like to join me must download an image (jpg, png) and send me the message with the other fields of the form. But the problem is at the field of download of the image. All the name of my image is displayed regardless of the length. Sometimes the name of the image to download exceeds my screen if it is more or less 100 characters. I did not have that with my old theme. Firstly my sincere apologies for raising this in the forums as I realise it’s a beginner wordpress issue. (I am also a beginner wordpress user!)

I’m only experiencing the sidebar dropping below the content in Internet Explorer (worst browser out amirite?) Chrome and Mozilla both seem completely able to work it out.

I’m doing this website as a donation to a charity I do some work with and am finding it really hard to find time between my normal and 2nd jobs to properly troubleshoot the issue for them and feel terrible holding up the launch of their new site.

Is anybody able to assist me with finding a solution to the error?

I have updated all my plugins, wp, and original and child theme and still have the issue.
