I am registered with 123 Reg. Is it possible to install a free SSL on 123 Reg?

All I was getting was 500 servers error on gallery pages until I deleted the NextGEN plugin and manually uploaded it now it’s a mix of 500’s or cannot display.
There have been no updates to my website or plugins since the 25/11/2017 and that was just ‘WPSSO Core’ and ‘WPSSO Schema JSON-LD Markup’ and 4 posts on the 25th that included 2 galleries.

I did have an issue with these 2 galleries as have not made any new ones for several months and one of your updates had changed the setting, such as the default storage are for the pictures. But I corrected this, and it was all fine until last night.

Looking at some of the other posts from today it looks like it’s a PHP version issue. My website was down for 30 minuets yesterday and looking at the info for my site it is now running PHP Version 7.0.26 but I do not know if that was why my site was down as 123-reg are useless or for how long PHP Version 7.0.26 has been running, and it not possible to roll it back.

Any help to fix this quickly would be greatly appreciated, we have a lot of new photoshoots coming up in December. I will list some links below to some gallery pages and the website info, if it helps.

I am a complete beginner at this and am struggling.

I’ve purchased hosting with 123-reg.co.uk and have followed their instructions to link wordpress to the account.

However, when I go to my site (domain I’ve purchased):

https://www.chooseheadphones.co.uk/

A wordpress page comes up saying the page doesn’t exist.

I should also point out that I am using wampserver <- Will I need to delete the database from wampserver since I am using 123-reg for my hosting?

Can anyone please advise? Ultimately my next steps are:

1. Have a live site at https://www.chooseheadphones.co.uk/
2. Set up Google Analytics to the site
3. Make changes and publish live (I don’t want to be in a staging environment)

I’ve tried closing my browser, creating a folder in the content and copying the name over to the installation directory and I’m still getting the error.

What do I do??

This only started after updating to WordPress 4.3, previously I have had no problems.

I am using 123-reg to host the site, again no problems previously.

It doesn’t happen when updating my own profile, just someone else’s.

The profile update appears to be successful each time (when I return to the list of users the change asked for has taken place) it’s just a bit annoying when this pops up as I don’t know what it means or what it could do at a later date.

Very novice question here – I thought that buying a word press web hosting package with 123-reg and a domain through them would be easy. I have two questions:

1. It seems everything is up and running however I cant seem to edit anything on the theme I have chosen? Its just letting me edit the header. Ive chosen a simple one page scrolling responsive template theme ‘Onetone’.

2. My website is also live and showing the template im working on and I cant find anywhere to make it a draft? I need a ‘website coming soon’ holding page but I don’t know where to start! I cant have a half built website up live on the web..

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Trying to setup wordpress on a 123-reg account.
Trying to set up the database but nothing is working and just getting the “error establishing a database connection” message

Can anyone confirm
1 – if I need to put in a new set of details for “Database Name”, “User Name”, and “Password”, or is these should be my regular 123-reg details (and if so which for whic)

2 – what I should put in the “Database Host” line

Also, when I tried to manually install WordPress following the steps on https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Installing_WordPress#Step_2:_Create_the_Database_and_a_User
but when creating a database on 123 Reg it did not seem to give me access to privilages and made me rather confused.
I have already asked 123Reg a support question but they do not seem too helpful so I thought I would ask here. Maybe someone has used 123-Reg before.
