Using Player without feed?

Is there a way to put the player in a post without putting the entry in the feed? We have a handful of audio that doesn’t really fit in the podcast, but we’d like to be able to have the player on the website for it.

Podpress media player "File not found"

Hi all,

I am very new to WordPress, and have just started using the Podpress plugin to upload podcast episodes.
Currently, I am able to select the podcast episode to upload with a post from the drop down menu, as the “Absolute path of the media files directory” has been properly defined. (/home/lowaims/public_html/wp-content/uploads) The plugin also auto-detects the file size and duration of the episode correctly.

Once I publish the post, however, the Podpress player shows “file not found” and the download link shows the “page not found” error.

Could anyone show me where I might be going wrong? Or direct me to another thread that solves this issue? (My extensive searching has yielded nothing helpful so far.)

1pixelout player setup issues

I have tried for the last two months to get this to work but it is simply not possible, I consider myself computer savvy since I worked for Apple for three years. I have tried this plugin out and it just doesn’t seem to work. I’m at point where I’m willing to pay someone to set it up for me. This is what I’m doing:

1. upload the file mp3, then I file the file the URL.

2. I put : [audio: URL (THAT I FILED IN STEP 2)]

3. and then nothing

What am I doing wrong, can it be that my blog (theme) does not support this? please please please help me.

1pixelout: multiple files playing at once?

I want the audio player (the 1pixelout player) to not be limited to only having one audio file playing at a time. I know most people want the opposite, but I’m trying to do something for which I need to be able to have multiple files playing at the same time. Any idea how to hack it to do this?

Hello

I’ve been having trouble getting MP3 player plugins working, first on Drupal and now on WordPress.

I’ve installed WP fresh to https://www.allaboutstring.co.uk and downloaded & installed the 1pixelout plugin. Installation seems to have gone fine – the options panel in WP worked OK, and I’ve set up a /audio directory as per instructions.

But the player doesn’t show – I see a blank shape where the SWF should appear (the domain home page shows the problem). Entering the full MP3 URL into the [.audio.] tag doesn’t help. It happens on Safari, Firefox and IE6/7 on two machines, although the URLs to the player and the MP3 work in themselves.

Does anyone know if there’s a known issue with any particular version of Apache/PHP? My Site5 server’s running PHP 4.4.6 (https://www.allaboutstring.co.uk/phpinfo.php for more detail).

Thanks for any help – I’ve been stuck on this problem for a couple of days now, so if there’s something I’m missing I’d love to know.

1PixelOut audio problems

So, I installed the 1PixelOut audio player. The player shows up in my post just fine, but when I hit play, as soon as it starts buffering, it says Error opening file. I have the .php and folder uploaded to the right place, as well as my .mp3s are uploaded to the /audio folder. I’ve posted a comment on the creators site, but have not heard back yet. The only solution that I’ve found is that I could have conflicting plug-ins? I’m still somewhat of a beginner, so I’m really not sure what to look for to tell if I have something set up wrong in my single post template. Any help would be very much appreciated, I really want this to work! lol.
Oh yeah, and here is my site if you want to look and see if I have something messed up. haha.
