Is there a way to turn on 2-step authentication for all users at once? Something that would prompt them once logged in to set up their account to use 2-step authentication. I have many users that I need this turned on for, and do not want to walk each one of them through the steps to turn it on manually.

Hi guys,
Hope everyone is OK and safe.
As of now, I can’t access my blog on the admin dashboard.
I had issues on my database which was full, I emptied what I could. So it is ok.
After I disabled wordfence as I have put the 2-step authentication, nothing works, can’t access the blog. I tried to deactivate all plugins, also mu-plugins, and still no access. I deactivated .htaccess as well, still no chance. As of now, I can’t access my blog and I don’t know what the problem is. I tried everything I could to get access but no success.
I have no idea whether this is due to the update or not, because, I should have received the automatic email from my blog where it informs me about incompatibility between 2 or more plugins. Nothing received, except the automatic update of 5.5.2. I have no idea of what to do guys. I reached out IONOS my provider and there is no issue from their server.

2-step authentication is so important and this plugin delivers it!

I didn’t give it a 5 star rating as I feel it needs to be a little bit easier to use. For instance, I would personally make it super easy to use by simply placing a button in main view that say ‘Setup Your 2-Step Authentication Now’.

I’d like to use the 2-step authentication process to ensure my password is strong and my site is the safest it can be, but the only way to do this is with a mobile phone. I am trying to gain access to my WordPress.com account so that I can start using Akismet and Jetpack again however after about 1 year of not using it and having switched phones I cannot gain access to it because I had enabled 2-step authentication. How do I reset this? I’ve got a load of websites running under this and it’s become a problem I can no longer ignore. If I cannot gain access to this my only solution will be to create a new account but then I’ll lose all the analytics data generated over the passed year on these sites. Not cool, not cool at all.

Any suggesions?

Unable to Log-In After Google Authenticator was Deleted

Hello,

I unintentionally lost access to my WordPress account after deleting Google Authenticator and switching cell phones. I thought that my account was also linked to my phone number as a backup means of verification via SMS, but apparently that did not happen.

I would really, appreciate any help you could give me, and I will be absolutely sure to create back-up codes the next time I do this.
