I have install my plugin to my client websites. Uninstall other security plugins. Active 2 functions of this plugin (2-step verification, Anti brute force). The results look good.

– Website speed improve at wp-admin page.
– Hacker try to hack with xmlrpc.php has been blocked at recapcha page.
– Hacker can not pass 2-step login page.

I wish website that use this plugin will have same experience as well.

Gmail 2 step verification is causing plugin not to work

Hi,

I have been using the SMTP plugin for a while now and it works very well. However, I recently began managing multiple adwords accounts for clients and google is ow requiring that I use 2 step verification on my email address in order to access the different accounts from within my primary adwords account. When I did this is caused the plugin to throw an error and I had no idea that email notifications were not going out for several days. It was easy enough to fix by just going through all of the set up steps again, but now I can’t access these adwords accounts without breaking the plugin on my site.

Any ideas on how to get the plugin to work when I have 2 step verification on in gmail? Or can you envision a better solution to my problem?

The plugin does not understand or work with 2-step verification. Just an FYI. Please update when this is fixed.

Failed Login Attempts Lock doesnt work when Google Authenticator plugin enabled.

Hi there.
I noticed that when I have set wordfence to lock users after 3 failed login attempts, it works when I have google authenticator plugin disabled.
When I enable it though I receive an error message at login which says “Error: the google authenticator code is incorrect or has expired”
It seems that google authenticator is triggered before wf when a user attempts to login, so wf doesnt really monitors users login attempts.
The only way for wordfence to inform you, is for the user to try to login with correct username, correct google code and wrong password. Only this way works.

Is this a bug? Can you fix this so with google authenticator enabled it would work also?

Verification Code Not Coming

A few time ago i registered gavatar site with my wordpress acouunt.. Today i wanted to use again and login system but its wants mobile verify again and its says verification code has been send but code never come my mobile.

My mobile numder still same i never change it and its says me your mobile number ending with 4411 and this is correct this is my number. But sms not coming me. I try many times but no results.

How can i fix this ??
