How to change the Catagory Color in WordPress 2015 Theme?

I Really need it. I have found several forum answers but that is no way helping cause i am not an expert in this field. I am using the 2015 theme and i want to change the catagory color. I installed an plugin and thought that’s going to help but it didn’t Worked. I have two parent categories and under them a lot of categories are there in my website. But the color of the parent categories set to default one which is blue. But i need to change them into whatever. Please help me in cool way. Not with css programming. If i must need to edit the css page, then please share me the exact step by step details. Thanks

Menu Doesn't Show Up

I am so beyond frustrated at this point.

I am using the 2015 theme. No matter what I do, the Menu will not show up on my site. I have added the menus. I have added items to my menu. Inexplicably, it simply will not appear on the page.

Oddly, even when I try different themes, the menu will not appear.

I am new to this, and I am by no means technologically minded. But I have spent hours trying to come up with an answer to this to no avail.

Please, please help.

Incompatible With Default 2015 Theme

Plugin appears to have an incompatibility with the WordPress default 2015 theme. The theme displays fine with the plugin active, but the theme customization page doesn’t work. To reproduce the error I am getting, activate the plugin. Then in the admin, go to Appearance > Header. The window that opens is frozen.

Published by section in 2015 theme

I am using 2015 with a child theme. I am trying to figure out the behavior of the “Published by” section which is sometimes added to the bottom of posts. So far it seemts that this section appears if you are in single post view AND the bibliographic info field in the author’s user page is filled in. This is ok, but since the theme already retrieves the author photo from Gravatar, it would be easier if it would also retrieve the bibliographic info from Gravatar, so I wouldn’t have to enter and keep up to date the biographical info both in the local user account and on Gravatar. Is there a workaround? I am also interested in any link to documentation about the behavior of the Published by section of 2015.

main menu replaces social menu on mobile view

Loving the WP 2015 theme, especially the responsive design, social menu, etc.
One thing keeps happening in mobile view that bugs me. My social menu replaces the main menu on my iPhone, particularly when it’s in mobile view. I would like the main menu to always be the default menu.
Is it possible to always have my main menu as the primary menu, regardless of the view.

WP 2015 theme loving it, but stumped

Loving WP 2015 theme and the new menu options, but have 3 issues:

Social icons at bottom of posts disappear at end of posts when the next tag is inserted in the middle of a post.
When you click the Pinterest button, only a few images appear for pinning and not all on a page or in a post.
When you view blog on an iPhone, the social menu is the only menu that appears in the header. The main menu disappears, and you can’t navigate on the iPhone that well?

I have subscribed to Lynda tutorials and am learning more about authoring websites and blogs, but I haven’t as yet solved my dilemmas!

Not sure where to find the version of WP I am using at backend of blog. I see that I have an option to upgrade to WP 4.1.1, but I am with Dreamhost, and they always keep me up to date on the latest. I never update myself.

Won't show 'summary' only 'full post' on home page posts

I’m not doing a static page but ‘recent posts’ is my home page. I do not want full posts on my home page. Even though in ‘settings: reading’ I have it set for show ‘summary’ it still shows full post. Any ideas?
