For some reason on June 28th, my 404 log stopped logging 404 errors. I have tried creating a 404 log entry by purposefully going to an incorrect URL. When I do this, I get the normal WP 404 page as a user, but there is no record of it in the admin area at /wp-admin/tools.php?page=redirection.php&sub=404s Everything else is working fine and on the Redirection plugin Support tab, I have green “Good” statuses on everything.
Thank you for your help,
Bill Murphy
First off, thank you for the great plugin!
The issue: the massively popular Redirection plugin offers extremely helpful 404 error logging.
The feature however stops working entirely once I use your plugin.
I have tried enabling your ‘Force 404 error after loading page’ option, but it makes no difference. The 404 errors are still not being logged by Redirection.
Any chance you could take a look at what the issue might be?
]]>Over the past few days my 404 log has been dominated by these 405 urls:

There is no associated IP address, so I wanted to ask if this could be an attack of some sort, and if so what steps I could take to verify?
Our impressions tanked in GSC around the same time as these started showing up, so I’m trying to get to the bottom of it and see if there is a correlation or if it just coincidence.
Thank you for your help.
Michael.

Thanks for the great plugin. This made my life so much easier.
]]>I waited a couple days and the spanish site is still showing nothing in the 404 error log. I KNOW we’ve been having 404s and I’ve triggered some myself.
Why is it not recording them? We do have a 404 redirect to a 404 page (via a plugin) but the same plugin is enabled on the english site and the english site is still recording 404 errors within this plugin.

]]>When you click on a column to organize the list, if you complete any operation, like temp block, or delete, it brings you back to the default first view which is set to the latest date ascending.
It would be great to be able to view as many logs as I can choose just like when viewing your posts or pages, you can put in the amount you wish to view on a single page.
I am trying to redirect alot of these and also block alot, every couple days I have over 2000 items, and it’s difficult to manage only 20 at a time.

]]>I do have the WordPress and Apache module present. Although the Apache module presents the error “Disabled: enter the location of an .htaccess file for this to be valid”. This is because I haven’t created an .htaccess file.
Would this cause my issue of not having the 404 Error module?
Can I manually create the 404 module?
I have already completely removed the plugin and data using the button in “Options” but to no avail. I still can’t see the 404 errors module.
All I really want to do is be able to download the 404 error log instead of having to page through it. Any ideas?
