Everything is working fine now except
1. sitemap.xml is not being updated even after clicking on update now button
and
2. sitemap_post_tag.xml & sitemap_post_format.xml is throwing 404 error.

Moveover, What should I need to do in order to update the sitemap on regular basis as I have turned off Dynamic Generation (because of it’s conflict with W3 Total Cache). On clicking on Update sitemap button – nothing seems to happen.

CLicking the xml-sitemap button or calling the sitemap url manually, shows in the 404 page.
I dont think it was a theme issue, since twentyfifteen throws the same error.
I had to deactivate and the reactivate the feature, and the sitmap url showed the sitemap.
