I got a message that there is a problem with WordFence and many links in my wordpress Dashbord don’t work and give this error message:
It appears you don’t have
permission to access this page.
403 Error. Forbidden.
I can’t run a scan or save new setting on wordfence.
Under Tools> Diagnostics> Connectivity I get this message: wp_remote_post() test back to this server failed! Response was:

I’d like help to get back access to the wordFence and wordpress dashbourd.
Thx
]]>I’m using WPML with language subdirectories. This means my “/wp-login.php” redirect to “/en/wp-login.php” for English, “/de/wp-login.php” for German and so on. Now I get the error “Probing for vulnerable code”. This restricts me to login or logoff, since probably the URL is not exactly “/wp-login.php”. I could exclude this with a regex filter, but then I loose the functionality of the traffic inspection.
Am I the only one with this problem? What about custom login URL’s for “wp-login.php” you can make with other security plugins like WP Hide?
]]>I am unable to access my website from any of my devices. My website host has unblocked my IP address but I am still not able to access my website. I’ve just received my wordfence report and see that my IP address has been blocked 8 times!
The problem started when I tried the WordPress app on my iPad. (First time in ages). My website did not load so tried my MacBook. Got message that server is not responding. Up until then I was accessing my wp-admin and website with no problems. I have not entered any wrong passwords. Have not been able to get onto wp-admin.
I have been in contact with my webhost and my internet provider. No luck.
Please help.
Thank you
]]>This has worked fine until I enabled Default Ban List setting in Banned Users of iThemes Security. From that point until I disable the default ban list, the message body contains the following:
“Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access this resource.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an
ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
Thank you for a great product, and for any guidance you can provide for this problem.
Cheers
…Steve
I’m getting an “‘Access Forbidden’ You don’t have permission to access this resource” when trying to either edit a pod, or press settings in the Pod menu.
I already create some pods in the past and I can see and edit the contents of those, but I can’t edit the structure( under manage pods ) or create any new ones.
My Pods version is : 2.7.20
My wordpress version is : 5.4
You don’t have permission to access /wp/wp-content/plugins/appointment-calendar/calendar/calendar_form.php on this server.
Any reasons why?

Here is what i tried so far:
1) Delete the .htaccess file, then tried the site. Delete it and upload again
2) Disable all the plugins.
3) Delete all the codes from .htaccess, kept it blank.
4) Checked the file permission
I have read many posts here regarding the same topic but could not solve it.
Any help??? Thanks in advance.
