We found and tried this plugin and were able to create a new role level in between. The plugin is easy to use, it lists out all the access function items that we can grant or deny for a particular role. Some of the function items are not quite clearly labeled (but that is not the fault of the plugin), we experimented a few rounds and found a good balance of grants and denies. Now our team members can enjoy a better access, and we can feel much better about securing our site/account.
]]>We start developing a customer android app base on Woocommerce-API and we using the Woocommerce token (read/write).
But the problem is that token gives access to the whole information/data of Woocommerce (all customer orders, products,…) and if the user decompiles APK and finds the token, then he/she access to whole data of the website.
So, the question is how to restrict access-level of the API base on the user role in the token.
for example, customer level token can only see her own orders, product, … and any access defined on Woocommerce customer-role.
]]>If not an access level setting item for “Able to Delete Records”, is there another way to configure the PDB plugin so that the same person that has “Record Edit Access Level” can also delete records?
Thanks
]]>Is that accurate?
So, if a new user subscribes at that level, 3 months from now, they’ll have access for a year after that, correct?
]]>Pardon me if this has been asked before – but have you ever considered adding the option to have plugin filters by user type?
Admin’s could have X Group of plugins, Authors have Y Groups.
I know that there are things like Adminimize which control access to these, but I believe with these things that plugins are still loaded.
I’m interested in loading selective plugin groups for different user types for one of my sites so as to speed things up in the admin area. The site is plugin heavy overall – but with Plugin Organizer it’s actually pretty efficient on the front-end.
Best,
John
e.g general public can see/order products A, B and C but when the customer that belongs to a particular group logs in they can only see products B and C
If this functionality is not available out of the box I would be happy to write custom code if you could point me to right direction…
Thank you

]]>I have currently set access level for editing to ‘contributor’ but when I sign in on this user and go to the plugin list participants page it just shows a blank page with the four ‘Previous, Submit, Apply, Next’ buttons. When I click one of these buttons it gives me the error:
Database Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘WHERE id = 152’ at line 1 on query: UPDATE wp_participants_database SET date_updated

Many thanks!

]]>I changed access level to edit_product (or something like that) and my account (administrator) lost access to plugin (now I have access only for Optimization and Manual options). How could I fix it? Where (database, files) could I find this setting to modify it?
Thanks a lot.
