WP-Staging plugin accidentally deleted

Hello,

I was working on a staging site for a client and before I got the chance to push the staging site live, another admin unknowingly deleted the WP-Staging plugin.

I reinstalled but now my staging site is giving me a ton of errors, a fatal error when trying to access the dashboard. Trying to create a clone with the same URL in hopes that it would magically work (haha) but it wont.

Any way to fix this?

Hello,

Today out of nowhere I was logged out from my admin area (left it logged in just for a few hours, no one else has access to this computer).

I tried to login again with the correct username and password combination, Google Authenticator also correctly filled out. I had to change my password via the database, but now MiniOrange says my IP is blocked (so I can’t even visit the login page anymore, unless I disable the MiniOrange plugin via SFTP).

Could you please help me out how to get my IP-address unblocked again?

I deleted the sidebar off one page and need it back

Hi, This is my first week using WordPress and when I first made my website I was playing around and deleted the sidebar on this page; https://www.barneypartyaustralia.com/test/?page_id=178

If you look at my home page: https://www.barneypartyaustralia.com/test/?page_id=150 there is still a sidebar.

When I click Pages > All Pages in the main menu, I can see I have custom sidebars on both pages, but obviously, when I actually check the page, only the first page actually shows the sidebar and the other doesn’t.

I’ve tried completely deleting and reinstalling the theme and it still didn’t appear, which has led me to believe i may have deleted the code in Appearance > Theme editor but I can’t quite remember.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

I am such a douche, I have just accidentally reinstalled a fresh version of WordPress over the current one using my Plesk Control Panel. Is there any way I can get it back, or should I start worrying?

Trying to switch to weebly, accidentally changed wordpress URL

I am coming in on the middle of a project for a client. They have previously set up a site here on wordpress, but I have set them up a new one on Weebly. Now I’m trying to switch their domain name to connect with my weebly site, instead of wordpress. I have their admin log in info, but I didn’t see anything about the domain name, so I tried to change the URL to point to weebly, apparently that was a mistake, I can no longer log in to their wordpress admin, and the site looks terrible. Please help!

Please keep in mind, I’m coming in on the middle of this project so I have limited knowledge and access (my clients have limited access as well, because they had someone else set it up thru word press for them)

Also, I have read all the suggestions about the PHP and FTP options but I have no clue about coding or anything web design really, so I really need a “for dummies” version!

I accidentally deleted wp-login.php

Uploading a fresh copy doesn’t seem to be working because certain things in it direct to the temp folder on my computer. I dont recall what the original looked like.

I am storing my blog in a directory (example.com/blog).

Any recomendations?
