Wanted to give this plugin a try… Glad I did it on a test environment. After activating the WordPress environment could not be reached. Had to delete the plugin from the wp-content\plugins folder. Tried it again, no go…

Hi there,

Can’t activate the plugin. Got an error message such as:

” Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /clientdata/apache-www/b/r/brainpowertraining.com.au/www/newsite/wp-content/plugins/fast-velocity-minify/fvm.php on line 778 ”

Any idea?

Lite version fine but Plus version didn’t work

I installed the Lite version and it worked fine but is very limited. I paid for the Plus version and installed it but activation of any of the addons failed. The support was unable to diagnose or solve the problem and gave up very quickly. I spent several hours trying to fix it with my hosting support and our conclusion is poor coding. I requested a full refund within 24 hours of buying it. I have extensive experience with WP and have installed hundreds of plugins with the same hosts and this is the only one that wouldn’t even install. I’m now using Foo Gallery without issues.

Mailpoet 3.0 could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error

I was unable to activate Mailpoet 3.0 due to the following error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in mailpoet/mailpoet.php on line 4

I deleted some of the path info but left the plugin path.

Actually came across this plugin when trying to buy a pro version of simple share buttons and was hoping to replace my current follow buttongs plugin, but what a bummer – it does not work….

Plugin Activation End Up Parse Error

Hi,

I have downloaded and tried to activate the plugin. When I hit “activate plugin” it end up with the following error.

Parse error: parse error in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress-4.1\wp-content\plugins\module-positions\module-positions.php on line 1093

Activation failed – error on all pages

After installing and activztion of the plugin, I got following error on all of my pages, including the dashboard:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_page_permastruct() on a non-object

Only way to resolve this was by renaming the folder name of the plugin (with ftp), which allowed me to access my dashboard again and remove the plugin.
