When I create a confirmation button with the [activation_link] (link: https://[activation_link]) shortcode the confirmation button in the confirmation e-mail points to “https://https//mydomain/etc.”
I also tried link: [activation_link] but then the confirmation button points to “https//mydomain/etc.”, so it’s missing “:”.
Abviously, the confirmation button should point to “https://mydomain/etc.”
How can that be fixed?
When I create a hyperlink with the [activation_link] shortcode the link works fine.

perhaps the solution is obvious to you, but I couldn’t find any help so far.
I’d like new users of my wordpress page after their registration to activate their account. Therefore I activated the “account activation e-mail in the um settings. The e-mail is being sent and the href=”{account_activation_link} is at its place. However, the e-mail being sent doesn’t contain a link but only plain text: “Activate your account here”.
Do I still have to create a page the link leads to? If so, how do I make the “account_activation_link”-placeholder refer to it?
And in general: Is my idea right to activate this account activation in order to reduce spam and strengthen the security of my site?
Thanks for your help
Max

]]>Is possible to modify the separate email that a new user receives after registration with an activation link they need to click before their registration is complete?
The email that WordPress is sending after registration but before sending the user login details reads as follows :
– – –
Sub: [XYZ SITE] Activate Joan
To activate your user, please click the following link:
https://xyzsite.com/?gfur_activation=38d068fae35ad5c8
After you activate, you will receive *another email* with your login.

Many thanks for your help, much appreciated !
]]>Now, the mail is sent, but without the hyperlinks in it that come from {account_activation_link}.
Strange, cause when I resend a mail from Menu (from selecting wordpress users), the link works. Did anything change in UM?

The only caching that I know would be occurring is with SG optimizer. I have disabled it, and still the same issue. The plugin is up to date. I have also tried disabling various plugins, but still same issue
