Greetings.
]]>If this isn’t currently a feature, are there any plans in the future to add a feature like this?
]]>This is causing confusion, people are going in and getting a password reset, and somehow this is interfering with or overriding the wpDirAuthFlag setting. At least it’s causing some confusion.
As a super-admin, I can ALSO change people’s passwords, even though they should be using their AD password.
Is this something I can patch?
]]>I have a green tick in the LDAP server, but red crosses in the username and password fields – even tho the credentials entered are correct
The error produced is “Connection to LDAP server is Successful but unable to make authenticated bind to LDAP server. Make sure you have provided correct username or password.”
I have checked the username & password – they do make authenticated bind to the LDAP server from other clients
Any help/advice would be welcomed
]]>Is there a way to exclude a specific URL/page from authentification ?
I explain myself : I have a cron job that call a URL/page of my website but the cron job returns everytime an error (401) because (I think) of the LDAP authentification.
The other cron jobs work using a workaround on the htaccess file. But for this specific cron job, it doesn’t work as it calls an url / page of the website.
Any ideas ?
Best Regards,
Cedric
I have two websites:
– subdomain1.site.com (Non WordPress site)
– subdomain2.site.com (WordPress site)
We are planning to have users login through our subdomain1.site.com then click a link to come to our subdomain2.site.com without having to log in again.
I’m just the project manager on this so I would need to pass on the details to our developers.
So can anyone:
1. Let me know if this is possible.
2. What calls/API I would need.
3. WordPress keys / User details for this to work.
Really appreciate any guidance here.
