Hello,

I’m having trouble translating the H6 headings within the .activity-card-head class in my activity feed into French. I’ve translated the theme 100% using Loco Translate, but it hasn’t changed anything.

I can’t seem to locate the file to directly modify the words.

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Due to budget restrictions and conflicts, I’ve had to make a transition from Ultimate Member to BuddyPress and leverage some free software to accomplish the same ends. It’s been going great so far, but I’ve had some trouble with one feature in particular: followers. I can’t seem to find a good, cheap, and reliable plugin for basic follower functionality. I want my users to be able to follow their favorite artists and see when they upload new content, but either I’m blind as a bat and missing something basic with BuddyPress or it just doesn’t have it baked in.

Someone suggested the following plugin to me, but there have been some issues with it thus far: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/buddypress-followers/

It’s a little out of date, and when I try to run it there’s a coin toss before it crashes my site or remains stable for an hour. And then crashes. I’m looking for any kind of alternative, preferably free but if I have to scrape some pennies together then so be it.

I’m reaching out because I’m experiencing some difficulty locating the activity logs for my WordPress (WP) site. Despite my efforts, the “activity logs” themselves seem to be elusive.

I’ve attempted various methods to access them, but unfortunately, I haven’t had any luck so far. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

If possible, could you please provide guidance on how I can successfully access and review the activity logs for my WP site?

Points show twice in BuddyPress activity if enabled.

If I have points enabled to show in Buddypress activity, they show twice: at the beginning and again at the end. And they have the same CSS selectors so I cannot just hide one without hiding the other. Is there any way to configure it show they’ll just show one time?

What’s typical for bad Bots?

I’m new to WP but have been creating and managing websites using basic HTML/CSS since the days of Macromedia Dreamweaver. I’m running my own WP installation and not using any “managed” WordPress so I’ve been researching security recommendations and plugins. It’s a very basic site with no comments option and only one email contact form using WPForms Lite and WP Mail SMTP.

I installed a plugin named Limit Login Attempts as it seemed a prudent thing to do. I then got alerts that there were 250-300 blocked attempts to login every 24 hours. They even seem to be using my cryptic (not “admin”) name, which I find strange. Where are they getting that from…? I’ve now installed Blackhole for Bad Bots which has successfully reduced the bot activity by 2/3.

So my question is …Are these typical bot traffic numbers for a WordPress website?

Hello. I have problem with settings mentioned above. When it is activated it shows up HTML code in post activity window – but not in activity global feed, only in user activity. Can you fix it please in next update or provide some fix?
