Hello,

Just upgraded and somewhat disappointed with the Add Event function…

1) It appears there is only ON and OFF options, with a simple Add Event link at the top left of EVERY calendar. Is there a way to be selective as to WHICH calendar can be added to?

2) Is there a shortcode, that we can use on a page, to display a simple form, to add an event?

3) The Add Event form does not play nicely with the Divi theme. The top part of the form is hidden under the theme header.

Please advise. Thanks!

Unable to add Events

We are looking for a new events plugin as our current plugin was developed by someone no longer with the agency and is not modifiable.
I am really interested in this plugin, but after installing the plugin, it does not give the option to add events. After a week of frustration and no help from the Events Calendar Support team, I’m reaching out here. This plugin does everything we need it to do when it functions. I’ve created a staging site as suggested by the Events Calendar support team with no luck. I decided to download a different events calendar plugin and was still unable to add events in that plugin so now I’m convinced that it must be something with our site, but I’m not sure what it could be.
Any help is appreciated

Keep previous contact info when adding a new calendar event

We are about to officially roll out our community calendar to the public and found we would like the frontend form to remember any entered contact information like:
Venue Name
Address
Organizer name
organizer email

It feels like the information might be floating around browser cookies.

The comment was that if the form automatically remembered a few items, then community members would be more likely to continue inputting events.

Can't Add/Modify Events

Hi, we haven’t been able to add/modify shows/venues/tours using GigPress for the past couple of weeks. I was hopeful that the latest update would resolve this issue, but it didn’t. Under the GigPress menu item in the Dashboard, only “Settings” appears, and clicking on either GigPress or Settings goes to a “No Results Found” (404?) page. Please help. Thanks!

I can’t seem to figure out how to get the user add event and my bookings to work. Can someone walk me through it. Or is there a video that can help me. I am missing something and can’t figure it out. I just got events manager pro today, and I have been using the Pytheas Theme for quite some time now. All my updates are current

[EVENT MANAGER] Add new event back-end error

First of all I want to say what a great great plugin. Will use this plugin more and more on some other sites.

I am at the end of the adjustments of this plugin and the problem is happening when I want to add as admin task from the back-end of my site. After i fill the data and click Publish everything is still okej, but when i want to change data of event this appears:

Because of a horrendous number of attacks, I would like to change the excisiting log-in URL: https://www.xxxxxxx.xx.xx/wp-login.php.

If I do this your very nifty “ADD EVENTS” in the calendar does not work. How can I change that as well?

Access Denied error when trying to add event

Hi.

I am a new user to Ajax Event Calendar, so forgive me if I am missing the obvious, but when a registered user tries to Add an Event using the Add Event button on my Calendar page, they receive the error “Access Denied. Your site administrator has blocked your access to the WordPress back-office”

The user has a defined role of Calendar Contributor, and the group for this set of users being protected using User Access Manager plugin version 1.2.5.0 has a role affiliation of calendar co-contributor as well.
