Let’s say I have a pdf file named “XYZ”. I want to update this file, by using “Manage Versions” and also change it’s name to “XYZ-1”. So I do that. When I go check the source folder, my new file is there, with the new name. But in the mdocs list through wordpress dashboard it’s not there. And it does not show in the “manage versions” menu. Even when I try using “Batch edit” options to change the name of the file, it won’t work.
So I have to trick the system, by changing the new file name to the old name. That way my file is updated but it’s with the old name…which sucks..
I’ve had a similar problem weeks ago, and I fixed it by restoring a backup. But I don’t wanna do that again…is there a fix?
Thanks so far!
]]>I know that this question already exists in the forum but my WP skills are not really the best to understand everything (especially the programming part). That′s why i am asking for an easier way, again. I like to translate the “add file”-button in the apply modal. I look for the right translation string in the loco translate and the polylang plugin i′m using without any results.
What can i do?
Translation should be: add file=Datei ausw?hlen
kind regards
]]>the Field “Add File” is in this add-on (caldera forms translate) not included. How can I translate “Add file” (Advanced File Uploader)?
Please help me.
Many thanks and best regards

I am having sudden trouble with a 404 error when trying to add a new file. It does not appear how I try to add it (browse or upload). I choose the file, fill out the other info then click add then I get a 404.
This has just started happening, is it maybe a problem with using WP 4.8?
Any help is appreciated!

]]>thank you very much for this beautiful theme!
I would like to use it with my website, but there occurs one problem with the media (pictures, movies). When I create a new post or page or even when I work on an existing post or page, I cannot add any media files. When I click on “Add files”, the pop-up appears, but this window is empty. So I cannot manage to add already uploaded files in the new or existing posts. Is there any way to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards – Daniel

]]>Excellent plug in!!
Was working really nice but a little bug in my old version (0.2.9.4) made me to upgrade to 0.2.9.14.
Problem fixed, but now I can not add files from the front end. I get: “Unable to move file xxx! Is the upload directory writeable? xxx” It looks like the file is been uploaded in the .tmp directory but when to be moved to the right folder *ba-ta-boum*
Ftp works like a charm. Also front page widget for subscribers works like a charm which uses the same directory that front end tells me is not writeable.
Downloads & relevant permissions work fine. Try to tickle the .htaccess file a little bit, but doesn’t seem to have any affect on it.
Any ideas?
