Cannot Upload Images On Mac

Hello!

So I have 2 servers (one test and one prod), plus my localhost. Both of these servers are supposedly configured the same, and they both use the Advanced Custom Fields plugin.

One of the fields is a text area with an “Add Media” button. When clicked, a user can select a previously uploaded picture or upload a new one, and the picture will print in the text area. This has suddenly stopped working for just 1 of my servers and only for Mac Users. The whole process works except for the picture printing in the text area.

I have tried on Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox.

After debugging, it seems to be that the “media_send_to_editor()” function that I am manipulating has empty arguments. I have already tried adjusting the memory limits, but no picture will print on Macs! Has anyone faced this before?

I’ve got MLA showing me a column in the Media Assistant that tells me if an image is a featured image, however I cannot find a way to surface this information in the “Featured Image” modal when setting the Featured Image on a new post.

Is this possible?

Thank you very much for offering the amazing plugin, USP.
I am using the free version.
I found the “Add Media” button is enable after I enable the RTE for the post content field. But I don’t want the non-admin logged users to upload the media.
Actually, the upload was never be successful during my test. There is error message of lack of permission.
Is there any way I can remove that button away?
I have read the doc on your website (../usp-pro-enable-non-admin-users-upload-media).
But it is to enable it in the pro version.

I would like to pull out the single ‘Add Media’ icon without necessarily activating the full Command Toolbar
File Edit etc.

Please update the FAQ that it is not possible to Add Media to the page.

In your FAQ you explain how to insert media in the content section. It took me 5 minutes of fumbling before I decided to Google because I did not freaking see the “Add Media” button anyway, and lo and behold an official post says the feature is no longer available.

I would really appreciate if you could please update your FAQ.
