Hi, I created a new role and want to assign it to some users, but when I add the new role to their User Roles and click Update User, the change doesn’t stick. The new role is no longer checked. Has anyone else had this issue?

WP version 5.4.1, Members version 3.0.8

I have been having a very hard time and could really use some help. I am new to code, but trying to learn. I have a field “sell_products” and if “Yes” selected add “vendor” and membership user role example “pmpro_role_1”. If “no” selected then only add “pmpro_role_1”. I have been trying to use “do_action( ‘pmpro_after_checkout’, int $user_id, $morder );”. I would great appreciate any help.

I have created a custom post type, say, ‘Challenge’. I have also created some new user roles, on of the user role is ‘evaluator’, this role has capabilities some what like default ‘Contributor’. The can submit for preview, the issue I am facing is, everything work fine until the Admin approves and publishes the post[from CPT Challenge], Once get published if I click on Menu ‘Challenge’ I dont have ‘All Challenges/Add New Challenge’ links underneath, and also on hover what we get that also missing. But If i Click on link ‘Dashboard’ and hover on link ‘Challenge’ there I will get Add New Challenge, I can add new challenge. I am Using ‘MEMBERS’ plugin to check and add Role capabilities, also i confirmed I have given all the privileges that the default ‘Contributor’ have through the plugin interface.

While Creating Custom Post type I have defined Capabilites, and mapped. Then what I am doing wrong, which Capability my new custom role missing??

One more thing if I add ‘edit_published_challenges’ cap to ‘evaluator’ role, every thing will work fine, but I dont wnat to do this, Once Editor or Admin approved, it should be blocked from editing by evaluator

Box for "Add Role" won't open when Add Role button clicked

I’m trying to add a role but when I click the button to add a new role nothing happens. According to screen shots a box is supposed to open up that will allow me to create a new user role. This box never opens up. Please help.

I need to send a wp User ID to a php script that uses the wp functions remove_role() and add_role() to change the role of the user before using a php header rediect to another site.

Probably only a few lines of lines of code, but have no idea what to do. Any help appreciated.

Accidently changed my user role

While playing about with a new Membership plugin I accidently set MY user role to subscriber. I can now not get access to anything. Is there a way this can be reversed? I thought that maybe deleting the plugin via FTP might work… but it hasn’t. I’ve tried searching the forum but I don’t think I am using the right keywords.

Can someone please help ..
