Hi.
Testing Rich Slider (free version), mixing videos and images. No problems with videos, but when I add an image (pointing to an external url), it appears having a typical “video arrow” in the middle, as if it were a video; if you click on the arrow, all turns to black and it does not link to anywhere. One should add some text and link it, but a visitor usually clicks directly on the image where he/she sees the arrow.

Adding new images to an existing gallery

I have several galleries already created and I will need to periodically update them with new images. When I go into ‘Select Images’ to choose new images from the media library, any new images I add will always overwrite the images currently in there. Is there any way I can add new images to a gallery without it removing all other images, or having to select all the images again? The way it is currently working seems like a really weird way to do things. I can’t be the only person who has had this problem?

I have added some images to a gallery of mine but they are not showing on the page. On another page with another gallery that is also happening. Cleared the chache but that did not help. I use Chrome and Windows 10. What do i do wrong?

The image uploads fine using the Limb Gallery or WP Gallery option. It is when you try to add to the gallery that the “Problem with Saving” error comes up. Even with error, the photo will show up in the thumbnails, but when I save and view the live page, it doesn’t show up on the frontend and is also no longer showing in the thumbs for the gallery. I have current WP release, PHP and MySQL are both 5.x. Any ideas? Thanks!

Adding an image via URL

I have not added a new slider using the Slider WD plugin for a while, and it’s been updated at least a dozen times since the last time I added one… so…

When adding a new slide, I used to be able to give a URL for the slide, but now I don’t see a way to do that. Has it been removed from the Slider WD free version?

The FAQ says it is possible. I just don’t see that option.

Add images from server (not media library)

Hi there! Love the plugin! However, I would like to add images to a gallery from outside the wordpress media library I have my files better organized on the server than in the media library. Anyway I could add images to the gallery via pasting their url etc? – There doesn’t seem to be a way to do it!

New Galleries don’t allow images to be added

Hi,

Not being able to add images is a bit of a fatal flaw for a gallery plug-in eh? But that’s what I am experiencing!

I have 2 MaxGalleria galleries created using the NextGen importer. They work fine (see at https://www.vrdriversim.com.au/moki/ ) and can be edited / add pics as expected. When I create a new one I can make and name it and edit that but there is no way to add pictures. Once I saw the pictures / videos box pop-out when adding a gallery but don’t know how I got that to happen and it didn’t work anyway due to a hang event, so I restarted the PC then.

Using Chrome in Win 10 32 bit. AdBlock is installed but the domain is permitted. I have tried Shift F5 to refresh the page before clicking New. Tried with Cloudflare off and on but no change in outcome. The site is hosted on a GoGeek plan at SiteGround.

I have made quite a few useless galleries now, doesn’t matter if I publish them or not, still can’t find a way to edit pictures. It is as if there is a blend of secure and non-secure script being served up and the non-secure stuff (like the add images button!) is just being dropped, could that be it? As you can see, the third gallery is a J2 gallery, which created just fine, but I would rather not use theirs if I can get Max Galleria to work, any idea how that might happen? Thank you.

I have a supplementary q – is it possible to have Galleries show up in posts in a bbPress forum? When editing posts in the admin panel there is certainly an option to add a Gallery, but the code just appears as plain text. Thank you again.

I have about 15 images that I want to add to a slider. When adding images, I select all the files I want, but it only adds the first 3. Am I missing something?
