I have installed a real estate theme which has 3 pages (Home/Search/Contact Us), and another page type Properties, which list the property pages. They are accessed through the Search page.

I want to create another page Articles and add articles with separate pages that can be indexed by Google and appear as thumbnails on the Articles page.

Is there a way to use what I have or does it need a plugin?

Adding Pages Removed Header

First of all, hello, and thank you for helping – whoever you are.

I am having a problem with this theme. I set up my header beautifully with a picture of me and a new background image. Then, I went to add the pages that I was going to need and after adding three pages (for a total of four with the sample page that was already there) and two child pages under one of them I went to check out how it looked and when I refreshed my site I was appalled to see that my header was gone. So, I went back and deleted pages one at a time to try to find the problem and when I had deleted all of them, including the example page (which I renamed)my header still hadn’t come back. I went to the theme options and looked and everything is still there – it shows the header image I selected and all of the other elements I had set up but nothing is showing. It went back to the header image I had replaced and will not go back to the way it was. What do I do?

Adding Subpages to Enigma Parallax Child Theme

Anyone can advise on duplicating areas of main index page when adding subpages to Enigma Parallax Child theme? My current sub-page added “portfolio/finearts” I would like to add the “footer/contact us/” sections to my finearts sub-page.

Adding pages and Navigation line

I am a newbie with WP site creation. I have a menu heading called “equipment”. This goes to the equipment page where I am selling the equipment. I have (naturally) run out of room on that page and I want to create a new page (or pages) to continue my equipment listings. Can you tell me how to create the new page and add navigation controls to it or is there a plug-in for that?

Do I uninstall Word Press?

I have removed all pages and returned to Theme twenty-sixteen and I have a recurring problem. When I add a page ‘Home’ I get followgarth.com/home/home/.
Same when I add page ‘About’ I get …/home/about/
Can you tell me where the problem is? I started getting this with Tesseract Theme, but it followed me back to 20/16.
Do I uninstall WP and start again? I use Bluehost for hosting.

Adding pages changes the homepage look

The problem is I have added a few links to the top menu bar and everything is fine. The look of my homepage is great and the links take me to the intended pages. But, when I add one more page, for example the page for Shoes, even if I have it set to be under apparel, it changes the look of the main page and all the links are now to the left side and the functionality and clean look of the main page is gone and it reverts to the background image and not the nice slider it was before I added that page. If I set the template for the new page (Shoes) to be “homepage”, then the homepage is the way it should but the Shoes page loads the homepage again without content. Does that make sense? Its like adding one more link to the page makes it start loading links to the left and changes to the background image. I am sure there is a quick fix but I just don’t know what it is…

Hello,

I want to create an “About” Page that will be listed like my “Home” Page at the top of my website. I tried the process below but do not see the “Page Parent” drop-down menu. Does anyone know why this option is unavailable?

Go to Administration > Pages > Add New panel.
In the right menu, click the “Page Parent” drop-down menu. The drop-down menu contains a list of all the Pages already created for your site.
Select the appropriate parent Page from the drop-down menu to make the current Page a child Page.
Add content to the subpage.
Click Publish when ready.

Also, does any one know how I get the social media and search widget to the top of my page? Maybe under the subtitle? My URL is www.thepickyeater-blog.com if you need to see the specific theme I am working with.

Adding and editing Pages in Celestial Lite theme

I am new to wordpress but have been building static sites for 5 years. I downloaded WordPress and then downloaded and activated Celestial Lite theme. Then I activated the celestial lite child them and proceeded to create the exact home Page I wanted.

Now I am trying to create the many other pages I need for this site such as an about page, but when I go to edit the header image for example, I end up changing the header image on the Home Page. I have made sure that I am using the correct page template for the About Page but I just seem to be going in circles. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The site is being created in an empty domain that is currently not being used as I don’t want to shut down the main site while I create the new one. The URL is www.dearrachelbook.com

using page editor to add pages

Hi. I am used to adding pages using page>add new.
I notice with my current theme that I have to use the menu to create pages and that is problematic because not all the pages show up and the subpages do not show up.

is there a way to bypass the menu and use only page editor to enable pages to show?

Main page menu bar

I’ve taken over editing a website, and I’m not familiar with WordPress. On the main page of the website there’s a bar under the main logo that has links to other pages on the site (ex. contacts, videos, etc…). I need to add a new page, which I have been able to create, but how do I add it to the bar so that it appears on the homepage?
