Looked through this forum and, following steps mentioned in several threads, I installed Post-SMTP. The test email was sent and received without an issue.
I then used a template to create a simple “contact us” form. I tried to submit it twice. Both times it was not received.
The logs from Post-SMIP show all three attempts as successful. When I go to look at the transcripts, the test email and one of the form attempts generate and “undefined” error. The other form attempt gives this: smtp:none:none://localhost:25
What do I need to do to next?
]]>I am managing the wordpress site. The owner asked me to update the admin email (in settings) with the email address from them.
I typed it in but they never received the mail (not in spam too). Can you check what happend?
Thank you!
]]>It says my personal email is the admin email, and I wanted to change it. So I did.
Then it said:
“This address is used for admin purposes. If you change this, an email will be sent to your new address to confirm it. The new address will not become active until confirmed.“
And also:
“There is a pending change of the admin email to —– (new email)”
but I have not received any email. I have tried this three times, to no avail.
What am I doing wrong please?
]]>Beyot theme Version 1.2.5 with ere plugin ofc
]]>My client is wanting to be able to reply directly to the individual who submitted through their form but the from email is currently the set admin email for the website. I know this can be done, but am having trouble knowing exactly what needs to be changed/added to make this happen. Please advise. Thank you!
]]>Please, I need assistance on how to resolve this.
Thanks.
]]>I just wanted to ask you if you recommend me to change the admin email under settings/general. Now there is a strange email, I don’t know that email. It seems a default email (did WordPress or my hosting provider created it?).
If I change it, should I use a very new email or my private email?
Thank you in advance.
]]>I have setup the plugin, but the notification emails go to the wrong email address.
The administration email address is set to the one I would like it to go to in the wordpress settings, but it goes to another email address all together. I have checked in various places, and the email address that it is actually being sent to, I can’t see listed anywhere.
Any help is much appreciated as we arn’t currently getting any booking request emails.
