but it is empty. After installing this plugin our default ADMIN role has disappeared!! Even after disabling the plugin we dont see the admin role. HOW DO WE FIX THIS??
]]>I have only one restriction set to logged-out users only.
I am logged in as an administrator and the content is restricted for me as well.
I have tried solving this all day. I am using this in conjunction with Ultimate Member to set custom user roles and Learnpress. The pages I am restricting are selected courses. The Ultimate Member plugin does not apply to this error because I am not setting restrictions for the custom user roles.
Is it possible to open the shop only for the administrator role while the checkout process is closed. It would be helpful for testing purpose. So I have to open the shop and close after tests. Customer can use the shop while he is open.

I created a role called “manager” and gave it the capability to upgrade users.
But this user can make himself or anyone else an Administrator!
I don’t want him to be an Administrator, can your plugin block this feature except for admin?
I want only Administrator to be able to create an Administrator.
Hello Vladimir,
First of all, congrats for your plugin. It’s really good!
Let me see if you can help me with this situation:
I have a site with Eduma Theme+LearnPress LMS plugin and I’ve installed User Role Editor plugin to create an ‘almost’ admin role to some users and the plugin just worked fine!
But certain functions of LearnPress doesn’t work if the user are not the _Administrator_ itself! Even if all Admin capabilities are copied to another role, some functions still don’t work.
Also, another add-on, ThimPress WP Events Manager has the same situation: only grants access if the user has an Administrator role. I can’t grant admin rights for everybody and I was wondering if the User Role PRO version could solve that situation.
Have you experimented similar situation in other sites?
I appreciate your quick reply.
Thank you,
John

Reason: The current user doesn’t have the “do_not_allow” capability that is required to access the “SUMO Subscriptions → Add New” menu item.”
I’ve tried resetting user roles to default, and even uninstalling URE… But nothing restores the full capabilities of the Admin role.
]]>I’ve noticed that all the meta_values for meta_key “wp_capabilities” in table wp_usermeta of my WordPress database for users with Administrator role start with:
a:5:{s:17:”ndp_administrator”;a:2:{s:4:”name”;s:13:”Administrator”;s:12:”capabilities”;a:62:
…
Why is the first string ndp_administrator and not just administrator? If I create a new user with the default WP Administrator role it still comes out the same. It seems to create problems when I try to install plugins that can modify capabilities, e.g. User Role Editor and Capability Manager Enhanced. Yes, I have posted on those plugin forums and am waiting on replies.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim
