This morning I went to my wordpress site, to do an update, and my user account didn’t work. Logged in as another user, and was able to see that my normal user account was missing the username.

Inside of the edit user setting was the input field for the user name with this inside of it:

Then inside of a dropdown labeled Contact was a bit of script that looked like it was putting the admin name into a tag.

I’ve reset my user passwords, changed Authentication Unique Keys, and have attempted to change database passwords. So far that is failing. I have opened a ticket with the hosting company.

Any ideas what has happened? Hacked?

Is there such a thing as an admin nice name?

RSS Feed Link Not Working

Hi,

For some reason my RSS feed link is not working on my blog, the link is like this:

https://domainname.com/blogdirectory/?feed=rss2

When I click it, it brings up a page that says:

“Internet explored cannot display this feed”

Does anyone know why this is and what I can do to fix it?

RSS Validation Error

I am running WordPress 2.0.4, using the Semilogic Minimalist theme.

I have searched the forums and the solutions to this problem offered here do not work.I am a PHP novice.
Whenever I try to activate my rss feed in IE 7.0 I get this error:

End tag ‘dc:creator’ does not match the start tag ‘ADMINNICENAME’.
Line: 51 Character: 32

The admin name has been changed and a nickname assigned. All of the posts are assigned an author. This problem doesn’t seem to fit any of the stock answers here.

I just installed WordPress in one of my sites, but when I do a post it says that it was done by “”, if other user uploads a post there’s no problem, do you know how can I fix it?

RSS Problem in IE

I’ve gotten my RSS feed to work in Firefox by just downloading Feedview, but I still cannot view it in IE. I’ve tried on a few different computers, but have gotten the same result.

This is the error that I’m getting:

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

I’ve added a nickname to my account because I saw that in another post. That got it to work in Firefox, but I still get the above error in IE.

Also, does this mean that anyone using Firefox will also have to download Feedviewer to see my feed?

Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this error?

I had to rebuild my database and website, now I am getting this error when trying to acess my RSS feed. I am wondering is this is a 2.0.4 issue or with my theme?

Feeds from other sources working fine.
What am I not doing to get my WP blog feed?
